He opened the ears of the deaf, and the dumb spoke, and the lame walked, and the world rejected Him

MIRACLE - TITLE:  Thank That Angel
Submitted By:        Anonymous

I had a head-on collision with an articulated lorry. I know I should have died. I woke up with a humming noise; it was like singing; I felt so comfortable, safe and warm. Outside of the car I was in, I could see police, firemen and paramedics. A fireman shouted, "Come on get this car cut open. He's alive." As soon as they started to peel back and cut at the metal, the singing noise stopped. I started to feel pain and the comfort and warmth that I had felt disappeared.

Both my legs were crushed up against the car engine. My pelvis was broken as were most of my ribs, arms and collar bone.      My right lung was punctured and was filling with blood and had to be drained. The pain as they freed me from the wreck was unbelievable and too immense to describe.

A few days later, the surgeon who had taken charge of most of the operations on my body said that he could not believe that I was still alive. He said that I must have had a strong determination to live...I know that a guardian angel had saved me. I wish I knew how I could contact and thank that angel?

One of my friends was on a bridge by the fair we have every year in June. She saw a fish and wanted to see it so she looked down and was falling off the bridge, but then something grabbed her and pulled her back up. But there was no one on the bridge with her. From this day she says, "I was saved by an angel from the heavens."

MIRACLE - TITLE:  The Boulder
Submitted By:        Anonymous

We were up in the high mountains picking wild huckleberries. We took a lunch break and my son decided to scamper up a hill that was barren of vegetation. I was watching him scale this hill when my daughter, only four years old, decided to scamper up this hill after him. As my son went up the hill, he dislodged a boulder about2 1/2 feet across which proceeded to roll down the hill very quickly, right toward my daughter.

There was nothing anyone could do, it happened so fast. I said, "Oh Jesus, please help." The boulder hit the top of my daughter's head and then moved exactly sideways, which was physically impossible. I ran and grabbed her, but she was alright! How could this be? The boulder hit her right on the top of her head! She had a very tiny bump on the top of her head, and it was slightly red. I was so distraught that I took her to the emergency room anyway, but she was just fine and required no treatment at all.

I am convinced that angels moved that boulder just as it touched her head and threw it sideways; otherwise, her skull would have been crushed. That boulder couldn't have moved in that direction by itself. Angels are here around us, helping us. I know it, and I am grateful to God for these helpers.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  A Slap On The Face Saved My Life
Submitted By:        Anonymous

I started running a fever with no other symptoms. I had no pain because a previous surgery had interrupted the nerves to my abdomen and I had no feeling to 1/4 of my abdomen. When my fever got up to 105 degrees, I got a friend to take me to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with appendicitis and was taken into surgery. It turned out that my colon had ruptured and 1/2 of it was removed and I was septic.

A few days later in the hospital, one of the nurses aides came into my room to take my vital signs. I had a feeling that I was fading away, that I was dying; this was something that I could just sense and feel. This nurses aide came to my bedside and took one look at me and started talking to me and she took me in her arms and started to gently and softly slap my face while she talked to me about living still. This revived me greatly and that night, I started getting out of bed and walking all over the hospital.

Two days later, I was still walking all around the hospital, to the amazement of the doctors and nurses, and I ran into this nurses aide again. I talked to her about how she had saved my life that night with the gentle slaps on my face. She had no idea of what I was talking about! I am a nurse myself and know that we remember these kinds of things. Why didn't she?

Since I was in the hospital for 10 days I got to know her and all the other nurses on the staff. This nurses aide was sort of a brash and hard kind of gal, yet that night, she was as soft and sweet as a person could be. And her gentle slaps revived my life. I always will wonder if an angel took her form and saved my life, because someone did.

After that , I painted a pretty painting and gave it to that nurses aide. She was so surprised that I did this and still didn't remember what she had done for me. I love God's angels.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  I Lived
Submitted By:        Anonymous

One afternoon after having had biscuits and gravy for breakfast, I started having pain in my stomach. It turned into agonizing pain and I had to go the hospital. By the time I got there, I couldn't even walk because the pain was so great. They gave me an ultrasound and then called in a surgeon. Then they told my husband to call our pastor, that I was going to die. You cannot believe the amount of pain I was in. I had gallstones that passed into my pancreas and completely obstructed it. A pancreatic enzyme was leaching out into my entire body and was digesting all the cells of my body.

I was placed into a general medical ward of the hospital and the doctor told the staff to just make me comfortable until I died. He came into my room and told me I was going to die and to make arrangements and gather my family as soon as possible. He then placed me on pain medications and I was given all I wanted on demand by IV drip at my control. No other treatment was given to me. The normal level of the enzyme that was leaching into my body was about 45, my level was over 13,000. I found out after this that this level is unheard of in the medical journals.

In the next few days, my liver went into complete failure, also my kidneys, also my gastrointestinal tract, not to mention my pancreas. Curiously, my lungs didn't fail at all, but the doctor assured me that they would. Also, my brain didn't seem to be affected. My cardiac condition started to fail as well. My pulse and blood pressure steadily went down, down, down. My doctor did nothing about any of these things; he said there was no hope, so he didn't treat me at all. Looking back, I should have been in intensive care at the least, but the reality was, that no treatment was given to me at all. As far as my doctor was concerned, there was no hope.

My pastor came to visit and told me that our church was praying for me and that other churches became involved and started to pray for me also. I said, "That's nice." I felt completely at peace with all of this. I could tell I was going to die, that my bodily systems were shutting down. I was getting so much pain medication that I was hallucinating, but that was okay because I knew they were hallucinations. My family was concerned about this, but I wasn't. I was totally ready to die and had no fear at all. I was looking forward to it and was talking to God about it and told Him I was ready and He could just take me anytime He wanted to. I felt a little bad about leaving my two teenage children, but figured they would be taken care of without me. I was so ready to die and go to be in heaven and with Jesus that I was happy about the whole situation.

My blood pressure and cardiac output were failing by the minute. The nurses only came to take my blood pressure once a shift, and I wasn't even on a cardiac monitor, because I was a "do not resusitate." Every time, once every 8 hours or so, when they took my blood pressure, it got lower and lower. Then a nurse came in and took my blood pressure when I was in a very peaceful and pleasant mood and was talking to Jesus about how I was just about to come and see Him, since I knew I was fading away. He wasn't talking back to me though. I felt so comfortable and at peace and was so looking forward to passing away from this life to the next.

So this nurse comes in, one I never saw before, and she was sort of a fuzzy-looking person, and she takes my blood pressure, and it's 20/0. She tells me that her reading was 20/0 and says, "This can't be right. There must be something wrong with this blood pressure cuff." So I said to her, "No, it's right. I'm dying, it's okay." I knew it was time for me to die; I mean, I just knew this and was fine with it. She says, "No, you aren't. I am going to get another blood pressure cuff, you just wait for me to come back." I tried to call her back and tell her that the cuff was correct and don't bother to get another one, but she was long gone by then. I knew the blood pressure cuff was accurate; they had been using it on me all along.

So she leaves the room and I start to feel very confused and talk to God and say, "Hey, I'm ready to go." And the nurse comes back into the room and takes my blood pressure again with a new blood pressure cuff, I guess, and gets a reading of 120/70. She says, "See, you are just fine." She leaves the room and I never see her again. I think she was my angel. The next day, my kidneys start to work again; the liver test start to come back toward normal, my gastrointestinal tract starts to work again. The liver enzyme levels start to drop, and I start getting out of bed and walking around again. The pain starts to subside and I start to not taking the pain drugs. After about 10 days, I get discharged from the hospital absolutely just fine. My doctor told me that I would be sorry I didn't die, that I would have such horrendous problems after the enzymes devoured my cells and organs that I would have nothing but horrible medical problems for the rest of my short life. And, of course, he was wrong about that.

I never have had any of the problems he told me I would have. I have to be honest about this entire event. I was so ready to die and then I was very sorry that I didn't. I actually got mad at God about this. Thank goodness that He loves God and understands our stupid feelings that we get from time to time.

I eventually came to understand that God wanted me to stay in this life for His own reasons. I thank Him for that. I don't really know the reasons, but I now try to approach each stranger I meet with the suspicion that this is either an angel or a person who needs to have an encounter with an angel in human form. I have found that just a smile at a stranger can change their life, or at least make their day a little bit better somehow.

And now it's been over 13 years since this all happened. I did nearly die once since then, but once again an angel saved my life. I don't know why, but I do know this...it's the small things, the small kindnesses, the small smiles, the little generosities, or the big ones, that can change someone's life for the better. It's forgiving a small problem, or a big one. It's that no matter how small and insignificant we are, or how big and important we are, that God uses us and His angels to make this earth and life a better place if we will only let it.

And now, I still look forward to the day I die with nothing but pleasant feelings. I anticipate that moment with great joy. I have no fear at all about death. Still, I know that God wants me to take advantage of every moment I am alive to somehow make better each and every moment for those around us to be better no matter the circumstances they are in.

And I know that each day in my life, I may be entertaining and meeting an angel and never know it. So, each moment and each encounter in my life, and in yours, should be lived in with this in mind.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  My Miracle Baby
Submitted By:        Anonymous

I am a 26-year-old mother of two amazing little boys. When I was about six weeks pregnant with my youngest son, I began spotting and cramping, something was wrong!! I left work to go to the emergency room and ended up losing my job over it. After hours of testing and ultra sounds, I was given the worst news of my life. The baby I was carrying was not going to make it. All the doctor could see was an empty sack, no baby inside. I was devastated!! He tried to prepare me for what he said was going to happen or was happening to me. I was told to go home, stay off of my feet and take some Tylenol if I needed for the pain. I was pretty much going to miscarry my little baby and all I could do was cry.

Well, that little baby that was not going to make it is now almost 16 months old and is just a little pistol!! He is so smart and just the happiest boy ever!! This mishap the doctor called it, is a miracle to me in many ways!! I never gave up and prayed about my baby and left it in God's hands! I believe there are big plans for my little angel in his future, God wanted him here for a reason. I have this wonderful child to hold and hug and love everyday and I think about how the doctor said he was not going to make it!! They said there was no baby inside of me, but little did they know!!

MIRACLE - TITLE:  God Saved My Life with an Angel
Submitted By:        Anonymous

I will never forget this one day God saved my life.

I was very pregnant and I was at the medical clinic getting prenatal care and my husband was suppose to pick me up after and take me home, as he had the car. He never showed and I had no money, no way home and no one to call for a ride nearly 40 miles away. I knew I had to hitchhike. It was pretty terrible being in that position, but I was stuck. On my way home after a couple of rides, God spoke to me through my intuition. A spiritual voice told me, like an angel, "A man in a white truck is going to come and ask you if you want a ride. Do NOT get in."

I was calm and safe with no fear. Sure enough a man in a white truck came by and asked if I wanted a ride. I said NO thanks and kept walking. He left, but came back a little bit later. This time he was going the opposite direction, stopped in front of me and was a little more stern. I said No. He came again and this time he was downright mean and demanding that I get in. I could tell that he had serious ill intent. I walked on the other side of the road, determined. He left me alone.

If it was not for God's warning, I am sure I would have accepted a ride from the man as I had a long way home yet to travel and I would have had no reason to say no. God saved my life that day. I never felt fear or doubt. I was blessed and protected by my heavenly hosts.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  White Light
Submitted By:        Beatriz
I am honored to write to a well dedicated and blessed site. I do believe very much on angels for many reasons. First of all, my husband had an accident on July 12, 2006. He fell from a roof 15-feet down. On the way down, he was going head first. He said, he saw two hands and a white light turn him around. He doesn't know how he was turned and his head got stuck in between the ladder. That's what saved his life. The doctors say he is very lucky that his spine did not break.

That was five months ago. Today with pain, he is able to walk. He can't work, but he is well and alive. With metal and screws...I love him. Since then, he has changed a little. And is now a true believer in Angels.

Sincerely, Beatriz

Keep up the good deeds that the one up above will grant all blessings to all who do His deeds. God bless you and your families.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  Traffic Angel

My first encounter with an angel was when I was living in New York City. I was crossing an extremely busy intersection. Well, I got to the middle and realized the light was red for me and cars were whizzing by and I panicked and started to step back into the lane I had just crossed to return to the curb when I felt these very strong hands grab me from behind and a man said, "Never go back!" Just as he said it, a car raced by me and brushed my clothes--it was so close. If he hadn't been there, I would have been hit. I glanced up to see a strange man, African American, right behind me - there, smack in the middle of this busy intersection, holding my arms in a tight grip! He smiled at me slightly. And I smiled in gratitude. We waited for the light to turn green and proceeded to the other side. When I got to the other side and collected my thoughts, I turned around to look for him but, of course, he was not there. I will never forget him or the message that he gave me; it has applied to much of my life. "Never go back." I try to move forward always....

MIRACLE - TITLE: Outfield

Call me Marge. I would like to share this story with others.

Many of us are aware that Angels walk beside us at all times. Some of us have even seen them, others have heard their whisperings. A friend of mine once told me that an Angel sat beside her in her car as she drove to work one morning. I often wonder what I would do should I find an Angel sitting beside me as I drove. I do however share my guardian Angels with others, but only for a time, when that person finds herself in a dilemma or asks for a little extra help.

During the course of my work as a registered nurse, I have worked alongside many wonderful and dedicated nurses. Some who go the extra mile to ensure their patient's well being and interact in a special way with their colleagues. However among all the nurses I have been fortunate to know, Shirley Blanton has remained a precious memory. She had that extra something that made you feel happy whenever she was around. I know other nurses who said the same thing about her. She always wore a smile, but no one knew the sadness that filled her heart as she went about caring for her patients and helping others.

Her eight-year-old son Jimmy commuted to school daily, like many other children, on the school bus. His brother Paul who was twelve at the time is autistic and therefore had to make regular visits to his doctor and to his therapist. He attended a special school. Paul's doctor's visits often coincided with Jimmy's soccer practice and worse yet, with his soccer tournaments. Jimmy was often disappointed whenever his mother could not attend these tournaments. On those occasions, he missed seeing her face among the spectators and sincerely wished that she could at least make it to some of the tournaments.

The parents of Jimmy's friends were usually present and so he often felt like the odd one out whenever his mother could not attend. On the other hand, Shirley was very sad that she could not be there for Jimmy as often as she would have liked, but then she was the sole bread winner of the family and also had an autistic child who could not be left unattended. Jimmy loved his brother dearly, but at times, he felt jealous of him because of the attention he got from their mother.

Jimmy's mother and I worked together at a hospital in Washington DC , as registered nurses. Each time I met Shirley, she looked tired and overworked. Yet, she was a warm and friendly person and was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Everyone at the hospital who knew her, loved her. One day, she approached me and said that she needed some advice. Now I am very wary of giving advice to others for fear of misguiding them. However, I listened to her as she began to summarize her life. Shirley explained that she had been a widow for three years and was taking care of her two sons, Paul and Jimmy. She told me of Paul's autism which had been discovered when he was five years old. She said on some days, he would be calm and therefore manageable. But there were days when even she found it difficult to manage him, especially since he was growing up.

At the time, she did have someone to take care of him while she worked but at other times she managed him alone. She then spoke at length about her younger son Jimmy and what he was going through because of his brother's condition. She said her real purpose for speaking to me was because Jimmy wanted her to attend a soccer tournament at his school. They would be playing against a team from another school at the same time she needed to take Paul to his doctor's appointment. She admitted to being in a dilemma. She had told Jimmy that she wished with all her heart that she could be there for him but that she had no one to take Paul to the doctor. Shirley said that she was saddened by the look of disappointment on Jimmy's face on hearing that she would not be able to attend.

Shirley then looked to me for advice. I thought about her predicament for awhile and could find no suitable solution to her problem. I felt sorry for Jimmy, but I could understand Paul's need. Finally, I offered the only solution which I use whenever I find myself in a similar situation. "Shirley, this might sound far fetched to you but I suggest you send one of your guardian Angels as your representative with Jimmy to his soccer match. Let him know how much you love him and how sad you are about not being able to be there with him." For an instant Shirley stared at me as though she thought I had completely lost my mind, but I guess after a moment she realized that I was serious and listened more intently. I then proceeded to explain that everyone has three or four guardian Angels around them at all times and that I was sure that she could spare one to accompany Jimmy to his soccer tournament. However, I advised her against sending all four of her Angels as she also needed their protection, too.

Two weeks later, I ran into Shirley. She was very excited to see me. She said that she had been looking for me and had even asked a few other nurses if they had seen me lately. Actually our shifts had not coincided with each other's for awhile, but on that day, she wanted desperately to talk. So we found a quiet spot to sit and chat. I was afraid that perhaps something had happened to one of her sons, but it was not the case. Shirley was smiling and she actually looked happy. She then informed me that she had sent one of her guardian angels with Jimmy to his soccer match and that later that evening when he returned home from school, he was beaming and proudly held up a trophy for her to see. He went on to tell her with great pride, that he had won it for the team. At that point, Shirley went on to explain to me that although Jimmy loved soccer, he could never score a goal because he either missed the ball when he tried to kick it or he simply fell over in the attempt.

"In fact," she added, "Jimmy always seemed to be picking himself up off the ground during a soccer match." Apparently, the coach kept him on the team only because he saw what a great love Jimmy had for game. Shirley could not believe that Jimmy had done so well especially as Tom the soccer star at that school was the only player who ever brought the team to victory. Yet that afternoon, he absolutely refused to play. Both the coach and his parents were understandably upset with him, but he simply would not play. Instead, he sat on the bleechers and watched the game.

Nobody could understand Tom's reluctance to play that day, so miraculously; it was Jimmy who brought the team to victory that afternoon. The other players and the coach said they could not explain Jimmy's amazing performance that day nor Tom's refusal to play. Needless to say, when Jimmy returned home that evening and described his amazing performance at the game, Paul was so excited for his brother that he was totally out of control. He hugged Jimmy tightly and danced awkwardly around the room with him.

When I last spoke with her, Shirley seemed to be doing very well. She gets help with Paul from a group which works with special children. Jimmy is now in high school and continues playing soccer and is doing pretty well from what I hear. I firmly believe that Shirley's guardian Angel is still at Jimmy's side.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  My Miracle Angel

Three weeks ago, my step brother was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was crushed between two cars and not expected to live. He lives in another state from me so the most I could do was pray for him.

Last Thursday night, I couldn't sleep and started flipping thru channels. There was a two-hour show on in the middle of the night called "Angels" on a religious channel. I ended up watching the whole show till 4:00 am. It was an awesome show filled with testimonies of different people who have been blessed with encounters of angels. I then shut the television off and lay in bed praying really hard for an angel to help three people in my life who were faced with a crisis or illness (one my step brother).

I prayed so hard that night that tears streamed down my face. I then started drifting off to sleep. It wasn't 30 minutes later I awoke to the feeling of soft feathers going underneath me and over me. Until I was fully embraced in its grip. I was then lifted up so high in the sky so fast that the feeling was a feeling I had never had before. It frightened me at first to where I remember saying that I was scared. Then a feeling of love and faith came over me to where I was thanking Christ for such a beautiful encounter. At that instant, I was standing at the foot of a hospital bed of a woman wearing a blue gown.

I remember feeling the need to touch this woman's foot and say, "You are healed" three times. After that, I woke suddenly. I was in amazement of what just happened. The next day, I went my folks for dinner. My step dad was really quiet. I went up and hugged him telling him I was sure Jack was going to be okay. After I left that night I had not been home an hour when my step dad called me. He told me that Jack was out of his coma and actually acting like his normal self. It was a miracle! I still cannot explain what happened that morning, but my strong faith in God tells me I was visited by one of God's servants and I am so deeply grateful for the encounter!

MIRACLE - TITLE: Without Opening My Eyes, I Knew

I was sound asleep one night when I felt a presence in my room. Normally, I would have panicked, but something about the presence made me feel safe and warm. I languished in the feeling for awhile without opening my eyes. I felt loved and adored. Finally, I opened my eyes and found the room to be filled with a beautiful blue light, a soft glow surrounding a vision that appeared to be a feminine form shining so brightly I squinted one second to try and make out what I was seeing. In that small space of time, the vision stood and walked out of my bedroom. I quickly followed and watched her seem to float towards the window at the end of the hallway and disappear. I went into the living room where my two daughters were sleeping and found that even my German Shepard had not been disturbed. There was such a feeling of peace, I went back to bed and woke in the morning to the telephone call that my aunt who I spoke with in the hospital a couple days before had succumbed to cancer during the night. She was such an angel in life always saying the prayer with her husband when he left the house, "The Lord watch between thee and me while we are apart."

This is a story, a true one that didn't happen to me. I'm a little fuzzy on the details, so bear with me. I don't know what year, month, week or day, but I remember most of it.

Two young boys, I don't remember their names, they were about 5 or 6. They were playing at a yellow slide in their backyard. Their dog Jasmine just sat there. One of the boys (Boy #1 lets call him) was talking about bungee jumping. Boy #2 agreed and so they went looking for something to bungee with.

They looked hard enough, but found a wire, with two hooks on the end, not something I'd play with personally. They got it hooked up and everything. Boy #1 didn't want to go first, so Boy #2 went. Boy #1 put one end of the hook on the tag of his coat, the other on the bar at the top of the slide. Boy #2 said he was ready, so Boy #1 let go. Not what they planned.

Boy #2, was choking, and Boy #1 couldn't pull him up. So, there Boy #2 stood, trying to release himself from the hook, but couldn't get it out of his tag in his coat. Boy #1 went inside to tell his mother, Boy #1 said Boy #2 was hurt and needed help. His mother thought he just fell off the monkey bars, but a whole different story would hit her.

Jasmine, the young boy's dog, heard Boy #2 crying, while fighting for his life. Jasmine didn't like that. She pushed him up, long enough to get some air. Their mother came out, shocked at what she saw. She states "It only took seconds to get to him, but it felt like hours."

Once she got the hook out of the Boy's coat tag, he finally, after minutes of fear, could breath again. The boy's crying, were pleading their apologies, though the mother didn't want them to say sorry, she wanted them to be alright.

So, what this tells us is that you should keep garden tools away from small kids, or Jasmine was born for a reason God gave her, to save lives. God told her someone needed help, not all dogs would have helped at all. Without Jasmine, Boy #2 would have died.

I have a dear friend Annie. We are about 20 years apart in age but not in heart. We both work together and live together and were invited to a mutual worker's bridal shower. We would have to travel about an hour to get there. We had already spent the day together and neither one of us had used our cell phones to place or receive any calls. We had been out shopping to get the presents and cards. Since we had so far to travel and were heading into unfamiliar territory, we had thought to fill up our gas tank here.

While filling the tank, I received a call from someone that worked for the man I had briefly dated. I had only talked to this person a few times before. Her voice sounded stressed and she asked if I could drive to Forest Hill and pick her up as her Aunt refused to take her any farther. I quickly found out Forest Hill was about 45 minutes further than where we were going.

I had caller ID on my cell phone and asked if the number she was calling from was her Aunt's. She confirmed it was, and I told her I would have to talk to Annie and I would call her back. Annie and I discussed it and being of the same mind, we both would not want to be stranded anywhere and not have anyone to come get us. We called her back and told her we would stop off at the party and tell them what was going on and we would be back as soon as possible. She gave us instructions to exit at a certain point and stop at the gas station. When we exited from the north, we could not see the gas station at all. We came to a stop light and I stated to Annie that I felt the finger of God on this one.

We decided at this point to call her and they were heading the opposite direction sitting at the same red light! So I told them to pull over into the mall and I would turn around. We picked Fallon up and on the way back to the party, she confessed she was returning to Hagerstown, but her family had told her not to bother. We told her to relax and we would have a good time at the party and we will deal with that later.

After the party which she enjoyed herself tremendously, as we were driving home, it was dark. And I asked Fallon one question: "Why, out of all the people she knows in Hagerstown, why did she happen to call me, someone she hardly knows? I noticed as I looked in the rearview mirror, she looked at me funny and said, "You paged me!" Annie and I looked at each other in disbelief and we both confessed we had been together all day and not once used the cell phone until she called and she proceeded to pull her pager out of her backpack and showed me my number, the correct date, and the time.

Which was shortly before we received her call. The only other thing I can say is that I didn't even know her pager number. I told her she had better be thanking God right now because He intervened completely!

In 1999, I was a security guard for a large fruit business that included seven different food plants spread out over a large valley in Oregon.

I had a usual route between all these plants and particular routes through the plants themselves. There were key stations all through these plants and cold storage buildings, each of which I had to visit and insert into the clock that I carried with me.

One evening, I rounded a corner in a building that had an inside dock and railroad tracks. I was accustomed to traveling this route in a particular way. I would hit a key on the dock corner, walk along the dock to a compressor room, go through the great double doors, hit the tow keys in there, and exit through a pedestrian door on the opposite side of the room.

But that night was different. As I approached the huge double doors (they were heavy steel and 12-feet high and weighed about 3/4 ton each). As I reached out to push open the door, a strange feeling and vision struck me very suddenly. I was suddenly afraid and had the feeling that there was something beyond that door that would kill me. I saw in my mind a great lumbering beast, a chimera; it reminded me of a creature I had seen in a movie once.

So I decided I would not go in this way. I would go into the other door on the other end of the room. Just as I rounded the corner in route to the other door, there was a tremendous explosion! Both of those huge metal doors had been blown all the way down a 1/4-mile of dock, right through a boxcar, and through the wall of the building. One of the three huge ammonia compressors in storage room had exploded.

It was such an irrational thing for me to envision some horrid beast behind a door I go through three times a night, but something told me not to go in there. If I had, well....

MIRACLE - TITLE:  Face

My daughter and I were heading home from McDonald's one night and a pickup truck came out of nowhere onto the highway heading toward the driver's side. All I could see was a man's face in the truck and someone in the car had their hands on the steering wheel turning the car around in a circle. My hands were on my face screaming, "God protect us." The car was now heading back toward McDonald's. My little girl was still sleeping in the back seat. There was no else in the car, except me and my daughter.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  Out Of Control

My son and I were on our way home from town one day and were on a busy road leading out of town. We were about the 10th car in a fairly long line of traffic. All of a sudden, a car that had been waiting to get out of a side road pulled out directly in front of us. I slammed on the brakes, but then heard a voice say, "You can't stop!" Just like something was guiding me, I floored my car, swung into the left lane with my tires absolutely screaming and got around her car. My son said he looked out the window and bets we didn't miss being hit by two inches. To this day, I remember the feeling of calm certainty that came over me that we were not going to be hit. No one will ever convince me that we didn't have an angel helping us that day.

One who may have helped my son at a later time? He was driving a small car and was hit by a semi that ran a red light. The police estimate the truck was going 65 m.p.h. My son said when he saw the truck, he somehow knew he had better floor his car. The truck hit just behind the passenger door and made the car spin with such force it threw a baseball bat from the trunk 100 feet down the road. After spinning a few times in the road, the car went onto the side of the road and people were amazed to find my son not only alive but with minor injuries. So minor in fact that because he was taking an EMT class at college, he made them explain everything they did to him on the way to the hospital. I talked to the paramedics and they told me they had no doubt they had a dead body to deal with when they saw the car. They both said we had Better thank his guardian angel...and believe me, we did!

MIRACLE - TITLE: Save Us

I was about three miles from home trying to get to the babysitters that I was already late for, when a voice not my own in my mind said to put on my seat belt, which without a doubt in my mind I did. It was such a strong feeling I could not ignore it. So I was coming up on my house just off the highway, I knew I had to check to see if my husband was home. If he was, I knew he had already picked the kids up. I slowed just enough to see if his car was there and it wasn't which meant that I had to go get the kids. When I went to speed back up, I saw a car veering off the road to avoid hitting the truck that was waiting for me to pass so he could make his turn. The car had already hit the ditch and was heading right for me, my first reaction was to hit the brakes. But that same voice said, "No gas," so I hit the gas as hard as I could and watched in my rearview mirror. To my amazement, the car missed my rear bumper by inches. I pulled off the road and sat there for a few minutes and realized that if I had hit the brakes, we would have hit head-on, and if I didn't have on my seatbelt, I would have went through the windshield. Wow! There are angels watching over us and I thank them everyday. The Lord does send His angels to save us and protect.

MIRACLE - TITLE:  Pleuiku, Vietnam
Submitted By:        Anonymous

One night on guard duty, I was about to go to my tower to guard our compound in Pleuiku, Vietnam. As I reached the door, mortar rounds were hitting our compound from every direction. The AOD (Administrative Officer of the Day) ordered all of us to our towers. As I walked under a building, a mortar round went off above my head. I only remember a crushing force hitting me and pushing me to the ground. In what seems like a second, a white light covered me and I found myself under a bed in the guard quarters. The only way for me to get those hundred yards or so was my guardian angel took me from a point of death to a point of life. I live today to tell everyone how wonderfully my God is.
