ABORTION
What Does The Bible Say?
The Bible defines life as both breath and blood.
Example of the Bible defining life as breath.
Bible Reference Genesis 2:7 When God "breathed into his (Adams) nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Example of the Bible defining life as blood
Bible Reference Leviticus 17:11-14 For the life (nefesh or soul) of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. 12 Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."
13 "Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth, 14 because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, 'You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.' "
Although the word "abortion" does not appear in the Bible, a woman with child was still protected by the sixth commandment.
Bible Reference Exodus 20:13 The sixth commandment: "Thou shalt not kill."
The Penalty For Causing A Woman To Miscarry.
Bible Reference Exodus 21:22-25 "If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit (the life of the child) depart from her, and yet no mischief (miscarriage) follow: he shall be surely punished according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine."
25 "And if any mischief (miscarriage) follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth."
Any person who caused a miscarriage of woman with child must be put to death. The death penalty was carried out by the person causing the miscarriage being taken outside the city walls and stoned to death.
ABUSE
The Bible says, there is no justification for abuse.
Bible Reference Ephesians 6:1-4 Children, obey your parents in The Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and mother…" -which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 "…that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." 4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of The Lord.
Bible Reference Colossians 3:18-21 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in The Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases The Lord. 21 Fathers, do not embitter (abuse) your children, or they will become discouraged.
Bible Reference Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.
Bible Reference Proverbs 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.
Although the Bible teaches the parents to discipline their children by using a rod, it does not mean to beat or abuse the child.
Bible Reference Matthew 18:5-6 "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My Name welcomes Me. 6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."
Bible Reference Psalms 32:3-7 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night, Your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to The Lord"--and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah 6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You while You may be found; surely, when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him. 7 You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Bible Reference James 5:13-20 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in The Name of The Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. 19 My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
Bible Reference Hebrews 12:14-15 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see The Lord. 15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
If you are a victim of abuse, and have exhausted all remedies, my advice to you is to separate yourself from the person abusing you.
ADULTERY / INFIDELITY
What Does The Bible Say?
Adultery is mentioned in the Ten Commandments, all four Gospels, and in ten other books of the Bible.
Bible Reference Exodus 20:14 You (meaning man and woman) shall not commit adultery.
Bible Reference Proverbs 6:32 But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself. NIV
In the above scripture "man" is synonymous with woman, and applies to both man and woman.
Bible Reference Luke 18:18-20 And a certain ruler questioned Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone. You know the commandments: "Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not bear false witness; honor your father and mother."
Bible Reference Matthew 5:27-28 Jesus speaking, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."
The four scriptures above apply to both man and woman.
For thousands of years, the penalty for a woman committing adultery was death, and I am sorry to say, that this form of punishment is still practiced in several countries in the world, especially in theMiddle East.

AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY
What Does The Bible Say?
What Is The Age Of Accountability?
IMPORTANT In Romans 5:12-13 Paul teaches us that sin entered the world through one man, and death is the reward of sin, and death came to all men, because all sin. But in Romans 7:8-10 Paul also teaches us that there is a time period in every person's life that they are set apart from sin and judgment.
Bible Reference Romans 7:8-10 "Once I was alive apart from the law judgment of sin; but when the commandment came the age of accountability, sin sprang to life and I died." NIV
The time period that Paul refers to is known as "The age of accountability." Most Christians believe the age of accountability arrives when a young person understands right from wrong, good, and evil, and varies from culture to culture.
Although Paul clearly defines that there is a time that we all live outside of sin and judgment, he does not disclose what this age is. From birth to what age. On the surface, this would seem like just another mystery that the Bible does not fully explain. But with the help of the Holy Spirit, the answer to this mystery, as with all mysteries is answered in the scriptures.
After searching the scriptures, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I am fully convinced that the age of accountability is Twenty Years of Age, and I base my belief on the following scriptures.
When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, He commanded Moses in the Desert of Sinai to take a census, but to count only those who were twenty years of age or older. Twenty years of age was the acceptable age God set as being old enough to serve in the army. Numbers 1:1-3
In the Book of Exodus, when the Jewish nation refused to cross the Jordan River and enter into the Promise Land, God in His anger said,
Bible Reference Exodus 30:10-13 "Every man over the age of twenty years would die in the desert, except for Caleb and Joshua."
Later on in Exodus, The Lord again commanded Moses to take a census saying,
Bible Reference Exodus 30;11-15 "When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay The Lord a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. That no plague will come on them when you number them. Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering toThe Lord. All who cross over, who are twenty years old or more are to give an offering to The Lord. The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less than you make the offering to The Lord to atone for your lives."
Here again everyone under the age of twenty years received a free ride. In Numbers 1:1-3 The Lord spoke to Moses in the Tent of Meeting in the Desert of Sinai on the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites came out of Egypt and He said: "Take a census of the whole Israelite community by their clans and families, listing every man by name, one by one. You and Aaron are to number by their divisions all the men in Israel twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army." NIV
Again, every boy under the age of twenty years received a free ride. In the book of 1 Chronicles 23:24 the Word of God tells us that only those twenty years or older were allowed to serve in the Temple of The Lord.
After reading what the Bible has to say about the age of accountability, I believe that God considers everyone under twenty years old, to be under the age of accountability. So if you have lost a child, and are concerned as to whether or not the child is in Heaven, I believe with all my heart, you can take rest in the assurance of these scriptures. That if they had not yet reached twenty years of age, they are in Heaven. For once a person reaches their twentieth birthday, they have reached the age of accountability and must make the choice before they die to follow Christ or follow Satan, and to not make a choice, is the same as choosing Satan.
AGING / GROWING OLD
What Does The Bible Say?
Bible Reference Proverbs 16:31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life.
Bible Reference Proverbs 20:29 The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.
Bible Reference Isaiah 46:4 "I will be your God throughout your lifetime -- until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you."
Bible Reference Proverbs 17:6 Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged.
Bible Reference Leviticus 19:32 Show your fear of God by standing up in the presence of elderly people and showing respect for the aged. I am The Lord.
Bible Reference Psalms 92:12-14 The godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted into The Lord 's own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age, they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
Even though we all seek to return to our youth, it can be a joy to grow old in the arms, love and joy of The Lord, knowing our eternal body that awaits us will never age or grow old if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. In John 14:6 Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me."
The Bible teaches that as humans, and creations of God, we are made up three entities, the body, the soul and the spirit. And when we die, the real you that is the spirit never dies, and will go to one of two places: to Heaven or to hell.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe that by being a good person you will somehow make into to Heaven, you could not be more mistaken. In Isaiah 64:5-6, the Bible makes it crystal clear just how much our good deeds count toward our salvation.
Bible Reference Isaiah 64:5-6 How then can we be saved? 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts (good deeds) are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
The gift of salvation and eternal life are free; you have only to confess (with conviction) with your mouth and believe (wholeheartedly) in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. That He died for your sins, ascended into Heaven on the third day and is coming back as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
To receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please speak this prayer:
THE PRAYER OF SALVATION
Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe in my heart, and I confess with my mouth that You are the SON of GOD and that You died for my sins. I believe You rose from the dead on the third day that I might have eternal life. I accept You now as My LORD and SAVIOR and ask that You forgive my sins. Come into my heart and change my life. Amen.Jesus said you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If you prayed this prayer from your heart, Rejoice! For you have been born again. May God bless you. May you walk in His Light, and may you rest in the arms of His peace. May His Hand be upon you and may you seek His face all the days of your life.

Bible Reference John 4:10 "Jesus answered her, 'If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you Living Water (The Holy Spirit).' "
Bible Reference Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when The Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Bible Reference Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." 23 God will produce will power for the powerless.
