FALSE PROPHET / FALSE PROPHETESS

What does the Bible say

Do not trust in the words of every person who claims to be a prophet or prophetess, but test the spirit of what they say and from where it came. Many profess to be a prophet or prophetess of The Lord, but the words of a false prophet or prophetess are from their own minds or demonically inspired, and are empty words and will fall to the ground, for there is no truth in them.

One of Satan's strongest allies are the false prophets and false prophetesses. Unfortunately, we are constantly being exposed to them, in so-called Christian books, radio and TV programs nestled among the righteous. Sadly, most of these false prophets and prophetesses capitalize in "feel good" and prosperity ministries misleading the body of Christ into believing they can purchase prosperity.

Bible Reference  Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore, do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

All these things in the above scripture include prosperity which is healing, health, spiritual maturity, joy, success and long life.

The gifts of God are given through The Holy Spirit.
