THE MYSTERY OF GOD THE FATHER - GOD THE SON JESUS, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
.
The Bible teaches that before the heavens, the sun, the moon, the stars, the earth, the angels and all that is made was made, there was the Eternal Triune-GOD.  One God in three personages.
.
ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONAGES:
.
1.  God the Father.
2.
God the Son, Jesus Christ.
3.
God the Holy Spirit, who is the spirit,  mind and the authority of both God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ.
.
GOD THE FATHER
.
God the Father is and always was. He did not come into being; He was not made, and He was not created, He is from the beginning and has no ending. Isaiah 44:6 "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His Redeemer the LORD of Hosts, who is Jesus Christ. 'I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me, there is no god.' "  KJV
.
GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
.
John 20:26-29  "And after eight days, His JESUS' disciples were within and Thomas was with them. Then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, 'Peace be unto you.' Then saith He to Thomas, 'Reach hither thy finger and behold My hands and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into My side and be not faithless, but believing.' And Thomas answered and said unto Him, 'MY LORD AND MY GOD.' Jesus saith unto him, 'Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.' "

1 Timothy 1:10  "And to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."

Luke 1:34  Then said Mary, The Mother Of Jesus unto the Angel, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?" Luke 1:35 "And the Angel answered and said unto her, 'The
Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest God shall overshadow thee.' Therefore also, that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God who is Jesus."

THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

Matthew 3:16-17 "And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water and lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him:  And lo, a voice from Heaven, that is God The Father saying, 'This is My Beloved Son, referring to Jesus, in whom I am well pleased.' "

Matthew 28:19  Jesus speaking to the twelve disciples, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

DID GOD THE FATHER BRING GOD JESUS THE SON FORTH FROM OUT OF HIMSELF?

God the Son is one of the mysteries that has puzzled the Church for thousands of years. Where did Jesus come from, and when? It is not possible that God made or created Jesus because a created being cannot be called "God."

In the Book of Revelation 1:8, 21:1, and 22:13  Jesus said three times, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end," and in John 14:6-11  He says, "Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father."  From these scriptures, Jesus teaches us that He is not only the Son, but God the Father as well.  In Proverbs 28:22 Jesus also said, "The LORD brought Me forth of His first works in the beginning."  How can this be, you say, How can there be one God, with both God the Father and God the Son claiming to be from the beginning when God the Son clearly says, God the Father brought Me forth of His first works, in the beginning.

JESUS THE SECOND PERSON OF THE GODHEAD EXPLAINS THE MYSTERY

The answer is explained in two parts. The first part of the paradox is found in Genesis 2:23  "And Adam said, 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman because she was taken out of Man.' " Out of Adam, God made Eve. Out of God, the Father brought the Son. The second part is found in Proverbs 8:22.

PART ONE: In Genesis 1:26 God said, "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness." When God said, "In our image and in our likeness," He was referring to the physical image of man. It was not until God breathed into man and gave him a soul and a Spirit that man became a living being.  Therefore, our bodies are representative of the image and likeness of God, and our soul, or consciousness is our awareness of God, the knowledge of right and wrong, and the sum of all we see, feel, touch, learn and experience in the physical. While our Spirit that was created before the foundation of the earth is our bridge to God through the Holy Spirit while we are on earth, but when we die, or we are raptured and receive our immortal bodies, we will be able to both look upon and talk directly to God in our immortal bodies that never die.

Ephesians 1:3-5 "Blessed be the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  4 According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:  5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will." KJV

Note: As mortals, we are neither gods nor the Holy Spirit, but the likeness and the representatives of God and the Holy Spirit on earth after we accept Jesus as Our Lord and God. The parallel that we are making is symbolic of how God the Father brought God, Jesus forth from out of Himself. When God Jesus made Eve, He put Adam to sleep and out of Adam, He made Eve. In the same way, when God brought Jesus forth, He brought Him forth from out of Himself and all that God is, was brought forth in Jesus when God the Father brought Him forth from out of Himself.

PART TWO: In Proverbs 8:22 Jesus confirms this statement. "The LORD possessed Me and brought Me forth as the first of His works, both possessed and brought forth [meaning: to create, by extension]. OT:7069  'qanah'  (kaw-naw); a primitive root:  [meaning: to erect, i.e., create, by extension].

The LORD did not make or create Jesus, but rather brought Jesus forth from out of Himself, and therefore Jesus did not become God. He has always been God from the beginning because God brought Him forth out of Himself which can only mean that all God is, was in God Jesus, when God the Father brought Him forth.

In Proverbs 8:22  "Jesus said, 'I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began.' "

Jesus continues explaining how God the Father brought Him forth in Proverbs 8:22-30 "The LORD brought Me forth as the first of His works, before His deeds of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. When there were no oceans, I was given birth: when there were no springs abounding with water, before the mountains were settled in place; before the hills, I was given birth; before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. I was there when He set the heavens in place: when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep; when He established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep; when He gave the sea its boundary, so the waters would not overstep His command and when He marked out the foundations of the earth. Then, I was the craftsman at His side." NIV

The word "craftsman" in the preceding verse means to build, mould or fashion the materials which He, God the Father, called into existence through His Son, God Jesus.

Note: in the preceding paragraph, when Jesus speaks of God the Father, He says, "Before He God the Father made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world," He Jesus was talking about Himself in God because when God the Father brought Jesus forth, all that God is - was brought forth in Jesus God the Son, who is an extension of God the Father, so when God the Father brought God Jesus forth, it was Jesus, God the Son, who was the craftsman who created all things according to the Will of God the Father.

To further substantiate that God the Father brought Jesus God the Son forth from out of Himself, we read in Psalms 45:6-7 where God the Father calls Jesus God the Son, GOD. Psalms 45:6-7 "Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your Kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has set You above Your companions by anointing You with the oil of joy." NIV

Note: The word companions in the above scripture refers to the redeemed of The Lord.

In Colossians 1:15-18 Paul the apostle speaking of Jesus said, "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him, all things were created:  things in heaven and on earth; visible and invisible; whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together."  NIV

In the Book of John, Jesus ties it together when He says, John 10:38 "Though ye believe not Me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him."

PROBABLE CONCLUSION:

When God brought Jesus forth from out of Himself, He could call Him by no other name except GOD.  No created being, including angels can be called "God."

Jesus was God on earth. In John 14:6-11 Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well.  From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."
Responding to Jesus, Phillip said, "Lord, show us the Father; that will be enough for us." "Jesus answered, speaking of Himself as God the Father, 'Don't you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?' "

In the preceding verse, Jesus speaks of Himself as being God the Son and also as being God the Father when He says, "Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, "Show Me the Father?"  Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you are not My own.  Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, who is doing His work. Believe Me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.' " NIV

These passages say two important things. Both God the Father and God the Son share the same Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit. Jesus had to be brought forth out of the Father because He said, "I am in the Father and the Father is in Me." And again when He said, "The words I say to you are not My own, rather it is the Father living in Me who is doing the work." What Jesus is saying in this scripture is that He, God the Son and God the Father share the same mind and the same Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit, who is the mind and authority of God.

This is further explained in 1 Corinthians 2:11-16 "The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man, except the man's spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God, except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.  This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but He Himself God is not subject to any man's judgment: For who has known the mind of The Lord that he may instruct Him?"  NIV

Because we are redeemed, through the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we too have the mind of Christ, which is the Holy Spirit who lives in our hearts after we receive Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.

[The mind and Spirit of God the Father and God the Son Jesus, the Christ, is the Holy Spirit].

"Jesus Christ is as much God as the Father is God. God from God... but not two Gods, but one God!... like water and ice, not two waters, but the same substance in different forms... and the Holy Spirit is like a cloud, also the same water, who proceeds eternally from the love of Father to the Son and the love of the Son to the Father... and there are not three Gods, but only one Eternal God."  Quote from Domingues, J. M.D., World Religions and 101 Cults, Sects, Denominations.

JESUS, GOD THE SON CREATED ALL THINGS

In Proverbs 8:30 Jesus said, "I was the craftsman at His side," speaking of God the Father. In John 1:1-2  John tells us, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus is the Word, Jesus was with God, and Jesus is God brought forth in the beginning out of God. Confirming Proverbs 8:22-30, "The LORD brought Me forth as the first of His works."

John goes on to say in John 1:3-4 "Through Him
JESUS, all things were made; without Him JESUS, nothing was made that has been made."

In John 1:14 John concludes by saying, "The Word,
WHO IS GOD JESUS, became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, the Glory of the One and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." NIV

The words "We have seen His Glory," refer to the works Jesus did through the Holy Spirit. "The Glory of the One and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth," is the Holy Spirit in God Jesus the Son.

WHEN DID GOD THE FATHER CALL JESUS SON

Until Jesus left Heaven, He was not God the Father or God the Son; He was just God. Even though, there is one God in three personages, it was not until God Jesus left Heaven and became the God Man Jesus, that God the Father called Jesus His Son. Matthew 3:16-17, "As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment, Heaven was opened, and Jesus saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him.  And a voice from Heaven said,  'This is My Son, whom I love; with Him, I am well pleased.' " NIV
