SECTION TWENTY-ONE
THE FUTURE DESTRUCTION OF MYSTERY BABYLON
1. Isaiah 13:19-22 "Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah." 20 "She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there."

Revelation 17-18 "One of the seven Angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, 'Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, Babylon, who sits on many waters.' " 2 "With her, the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries."
In the previous paragraph in Revelation 17: "Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters." Waters in this verse refers to the many governments, who will come under the influence and the authority of the Antichrist, and the false prophet in the last days.
3 "Then the Angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns." 4 The woman in this passage represents the false prophet, the one-world church, and the actual City of Babylon including commerce. Six of the seven heads are the six kingdoms: Egypt; Syria; Babylon; Greece and the original Roman Empire. The seventh head is the Revised Roman Empire that will come to power in our generation. The ten horns are ten kingdoms that the Antichrist will give to ten kings.
"The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries." This passage represents the City of Babylon, world trade, the one-world church, sin, and the authority the false prophet has in the name and presence of the beast or Antichrist. 5 "This title was written on her forehead:
MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
Revelation 18:1-24 "After this, I saw another Angel coming down from Heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor." 2 "With a mighty voice he shouted:
'Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.' " 3 "For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."
Although the City of Babylon will rise again as a great city and become a world trade center through the power of the Antichrist, I am also convinced that Rome is the city from where the false prophet will introduce the new world religion through the Roman Catholic Church that will eventually cause the world to worship the Antichrist as "God." The one-world church will be introduced to the world as accepting of all religions as pathways to God. But before the seven-year Tribulation has ended, all religious pathways will focus on one man, "The Antichrist," who will claim to be God, above all that is worshiped or called "God."
4 "Then I heard another voice from Heaven say, 'Come out of her, My people (In the verse above where the scripture reads "Come out of her, My people," in the last days, when men are still free, before the Antichrist commands that everyone take the mark of the beast, there will be those who have accepted The Lord as their personal Savior living and traveling to Babylon), so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; 5 ...for her sins are piled up to Heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.' " 6 "Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Mix her a double portion from her own cup." 7 "Give her as much torture and grief as the glory and luxury she gave herself. In her heart she boasts, 'I sit as queen; I am not a widow, and I will never mourn.' " 8 "Therefore, in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is The Lord God who judges her."
9 "When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her." 10 "Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: 'Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come!' 14 "They will say, 'The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.' " 15 "The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16 and cry out: 'Woe! In Jeremiah 50:41 Jeremiah prophesied that Babylon would be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah, and the army who destroys her will come from the North.
This scripture can only apply to one country, Russia, which is directly north of Babylon. In the last days, the scriptures tell us that Russia will form an alliance with many countries, including the Arab countries when Russia comes down to invade Israel. The destruction of Babylon will be by a neutron bomb which will occur as the result of Russia double-crossing the Antichrist, in an effort to take over the Middle Eastern oil reserves.

Tribulation, but after the Rapture of the Church and possibly prior to the rise of the Antichrist. Although the building of the temple could be delayed, until the Antichrist agrees to enforce the treaty between Israel and her Arab neighbors that will start the seven-year Tribulation.

THE EVENT THAT STARTS THE 7-YEAR TRIBULATION
The Bible gives us a detailed outline from the beginning to the end of the seven-year Tribulation, including the very day, Jesus Christ will return to the earth and set up His 1000-year Kingdom.
In Daniel 9:27 Daniel gives us the very day the seven-year Tribulation will begin when he says, "He the Antichrist will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven' Which is seven years. In the middle of the seven years, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple], he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." NIV
The "covenant the Antichrist will confirm" is a treaty between Israel and her neighboring Arab countries that the Antichrist agrees to enforce. The "abomination that causes desolation" occurs in the middle of the Seven-Year Tribulation when the Antichrist enters the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and proclaims himself "God" over all that is called "god" or is worshipped as a god.
To calculate the exact day Our Lord Jesus Christ will return, all you have to do is count 2,520 days from the day the Antichrist or world leader agrees and signs the agreement to enforce a treaty between Israel and the Arab nations surrounding Israel. It is that simple.
THE REBUILT TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM
Today, the Islamic Mosque The Dome of the Rock stands on the Temple grounds, but in the last days after the Rapture, God tells us that the temple will again be rebuilt, and animal sacrifice will be reinstated. If the Antichrist is to enter the temple and proclaim himself God, then it stands to reason that the temple will certainly be rebuilt before the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, since this is the time the Antichrist is predestined to enter the temple and proclaim himself god over all that is called "god" or worshiped as god.
Although many believe that the Islamic Mosque sits on the original site of the Temple of God, I disagree, I believe at best, the Islamic Mosque is located in the outer court that GOD called "The Court of the Gentiles."
One of the reasons I believe this is because of a vision the Holy Spirit gave me several years ago. In the vision, I saw the Ark of the Covenant being discovered in a compartment that was sealed off adjacent to a narrow underground passageway under the temple grounds near the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall as it more commonly known. In the vision, I saw several men in the narrow passageway with light coming in at both ends of the passageway. In the vision, as the men passed by a certain sealed-off compartment that contained the Ark, the earth started to tremble slightly, and the wall fell straight down revealing the Ark. When the wall fell, dust quickly filled the compartment where the Ark was hidden, along with the entire length of the passageway in both directions. As the dust cleared, I could see the Ark in the hidden compartment, exactly where it had been placed thousands of years ago.
After this, the Holy Spirit showed me the temple after it had been rebuilt, and it was much lower in elevation than where the Mosque now sits. In the front of the temple, I could see priests dressed in ceremonial clothing and animals being sacrificed on the altar, and then the vision ended. Jesus tells us in the Book of Revelation that John was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the Holy City for 42 months. Revelation 11:1-2
No matter when the temple is to be rebuilt, my prayer is that Jesus allows me to see the Ark of the Covenant, before He takes me home.
THE TWO WITNESSES GOD SENDS TO JERUSALEM, WHO ARE THEY?
After the Church is raptured, God will send Two Witnesses to walk the streets of Jerusalem for
forty-two months, proclaiming the Name of Jesus Christ. Revelation 11:3-13 "I will give power to
My Two Witnesses, and they will prophecy for 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth. These are the two
olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before The Lord of the earth. If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to
harm them must die. These men have power to shut up the sky, so that it will not rain during the
time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the
earth with every kind of plague as often as they want."
"Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast the fallen angel whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek, Apollyon that comes up from the Abyss that I believe, will indwell the Antichrist until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, will attack them and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the streets of the Great City, Jerusalem which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three-and-a-half days, men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth."
"But after the three-and-a-half days, a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from Heaven saying to them, 'Come up here.'And they went up to Heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. At
that very hour, there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand
people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of Heaven." NIV
IMPORTANT: The Antichrist will not have a spirit like other men, he will from his birth to the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, be indwelled by who I believe is the king of the demons, a fallen angel whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek, Apollyon, the king of the fallen angels, second only to Satan. In the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, the Antichrist will receive a fatal head wound. At the same time, there will be war in Heaven and Satan and his fallen angels will be cast down to the earth. When Satan is cast down to the earth, he will enter the Antichrist and give him his power and the Antichrist will come back to life.
Although the scriptures tell us that Satan does not open the Abyss until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation and releases the demons who are confined there, Abaddon, also called Apollyon, does not need a key to leave the Abyss where the demons are held, since he is not a demon, but a fallen angel and has access, up to and including, the second heaven, until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation when Satan and all the fallen angels are cast down to the earth. The second point I would like to make is that although there are many fallen angels who took the daughters of man as wives during the time of Adam and are bound in chains, confined in the Pit, the Bible makes it very clear that these fallen angels will not be released until God judges them a thousand years after He returns.
Jude 6 "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home-these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the Great Day." NIV
WHO ARE THE TWO WITNESSES
Almost every serious Bible student agrees that one of the Two Witnesses will be Elijah because of Malachi 4:5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful Day of the LORD comes." And Matthew 17:11 "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things." NIV
Matthew 17:11 could mean that the Temple of God will be delayed and not be completed until the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation, when God sends the Two Witnesses back to the earth.
As for the other witness, there is a real controversy. About half of the believers believe he will be Enoch, and the other half believe he will be Moses, because Moses appeared with Elijah in the presence of Jesus and because some of the miracles the Two Witnesses will perform were performed by Moses in Egypt. Matthew 17:1-7 "After six days, Jesus took with Him, Peter and James and John, the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Just then, there appeared before them Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus."
I personally think the other witness will be Enoch, because he is the only other man besides Elijah in the Bible who has not yet suffered death the first time. Enoch was the seventh generation from Adam and when Enoch was 365 years old, he walked with God and God took him. He did not die, but was taken alive into Heaven and the Bible clearly teaches that every man, woman and child must suffer death with the exception of those who will be raptured into Heaven in the last generation, "Our generation." Genesis 5:21-24 "When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 365 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. Enoch walked with God, then he was no more because God took him away." NIV
Paul also speaks of Enoch in Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God." NIV
The only other man the Bible refers to as having never suffered death is Elijah, who like Enoch was taken up into Heaven. 2 Kings 2:11-12 "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to Heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, 'My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!' And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart." NIV
In Hebrews 9:27-28, the Bible clearly teaches that man is destined to die once and after that, to face judgment. So, do not be misled into believing that just because Jesus brought several people back to life from the dead that they never died a second time. The only two men who never suffered death one time were Elijah and Enoch. So in order for God's Word to be true: That every person must suffer death, with the exception of those who will be raptured, the only option for the Two Witnesses are Elijah and Enoch, who will also suffer death in the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, but after three-and-half days, will be brought back to life and ascend back up into Heaven.

14 "They will say, 'The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.' In Jeremiah 50:41 Jeremiah prophesied that Babylon would be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah, and the army who destroys her will come from the North.
This scripture can only apply to one country, Russia, which is directly north of Babylon. In the last days, the scriptures tell us that Russia will form an alliance with many countries, including the Arab countries when Russia comes down to invade Israel. The destruction of Babylon will be by a neutron bomb which will occur as the result of Russia double-crossing the Antichrist, in an effort to take over the Middle Eastern oil reserves.

THE EVENT THAT STARTS THE 7-YEAR TRIBULATION
The Bible gives us a detailed outline from the beginning to the end of the seven-year Tribulation, including the very day, Jesus Christ will return to the earth and set up His 1000-year Kingdom.
In Daniel 9:27 Daniel gives us the very day the seven-year Tribulation will begin when he says, "He the Antichrist will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven' Which is seven years. In the middle of the seven years, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple], he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." NIV
The "covenant the Antichrist will confirm" is a treaty between Israel and her neighboring Arab countries that the Antichrist agrees to enforce. The "abomination that causes desolation" occurs in the middle of the Seven-Year Tribulation when the Antichrist enters the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and proclaims himself "God" over all that is called "god" or is worshipped as a god.
To calculate the exact day Our Lord Jesus Christ will return, all you have to do is count 2,520 days from the day the Antichrist or world leader agrees and signs the agreement to enforce a treaty between Israel and the Arab nations surrounding Israel. It is that simple.
THE REBUILT TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM
Today, the Islamic Mosque The Dome of the Rock stands on the Temple grounds, but in the last days after the Rapture, God tells us that the temple will again be rebuilt, and animal sacrifice will be reinstated. If the Antichrist is to enter the temple and proclaim himself God, then it stands to reason that the temple will certainly be rebuilt before the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, since this is the time the Antichrist is predestined to enter the temple and proclaim himself god over all that is called "god" or worshiped as god.
Although many believe that the Islamic Mosque sits on the original site of the Temple of God, I disagree, I believe at best, the Islamic Mosque is located in the outer court that GOD called "The Court of the Gentiles."
One of the reasons I believe this is because of a vision the Holy Spirit gave me several years ago. In the vision, I saw the Ark of the Covenant being discovered in a compartment that was sealed off adjacent to a narrow underground passageway under the temple grounds near the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall as it more commonly known. In the vision, I saw several men in the narrow passageway with light coming in at both ends of the passageway. In the vision, as the men passed by a certain sealed-off compartment that contained the Ark, the earth started to tremble slightly, and the wall fell straight down revealing the Ark. When the wall fell, dust quickly filled the compartment where the Ark was hidden, along with the entire length of the passageway in both directions. As the dust cleared, I could see the Ark in the hidden compartment, exactly where it had been placed thousands of years ago.
After this, the Holy Spirit showed me the temple after it had been rebuilt, and it was much lower in elevation than where the Mosque now sits. In the front of the temple, I could see priests dressed in ceremonial clothing and animals being sacrificed on the altar, and then the vision ended. Jesus tells us in the Book of Revelation that John was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the Holy City for 42 months. Revelation 11:1-2
No matter when the temple is to be rebuilt, my prayer is that Jesus allows me to see the Ark of the Covenant, before He takes me home.
THE TWO WITNESSES GOD SENDS TO JERUSALEM, WHO ARE THEY?
After the Church is raptured, God will send Two Witnesses to walk the streets of Jerusalem for
forty-two months, proclaiming the Name of Jesus Christ. Revelation 11:3-13 "I will give power to
My Two Witnesses, and they will prophecy for 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth. These are the two
olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before The Lord of the earth. If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to
harm them must die. These men have power to shut up the sky, so that it will not rain during the
time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the
earth with every kind of plague as often as they want."
"Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast the fallen angel whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek, Apollyon that comes up from the Abyss that I believe, will indwell the Antichrist until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, will attack them and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the streets of the Great City, Jerusalem which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three-and-a-half days, men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth."
"But after the three-and-a-half days, a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from Heaven saying to them, 'Come up here.'And they went up to Heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. At
that very hour, there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand
people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of Heaven." NIV
IMPORTANT: The Antichrist will not have a spirit like other men, he will from his birth to the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, be indwelled by who I believe is the king of the demons, a fallen angel whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek, Apollyon, the king of the fallen angels, second only to Satan. In the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, the Antichrist will receive a fatal head wound. At the same time, there will be war in Heaven and Satan and his fallen angels will be cast down to the earth. When Satan is cast down to the earth, he will enter the Antichrist and give him his power and the Antichrist will come back to life.
Although the scriptures tell us that Satan does not open the Abyss until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation and releases the demons who are confined there, Abaddon, also called Apollyon, does not need a key to leave the Abyss where the demons are held, since he is not a demon, but a fallen angel and has access, up to and including, the second heaven, until the middle of the seven-year Tribulation when Satan and all the fallen angels are cast down to the earth. The second point I would like to make is that although there are many fallen angels who took the daughters of man as wives during the time of Adam and are bound in chains, confined in the Pit, the Bible makes it very clear that these fallen angels will not be released until God judges them a thousand years after He returns.
Jude 6 "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home-these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the Great Day." NIV
WHO ARE THE TWO WITNESSES
Almost every serious Bible student agrees that one of the Two Witnesses will be Elijah because of Malachi 4:5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful Day of the LORD comes." And Matthew 17:11 "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things." NIV
Matthew 17:11 could mean that the Temple of God will be delayed and not be completed until the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation, when God sends the Two Witnesses back to the earth.
As for the other witness, there is a real controversy. About half of the believers believe he will be Enoch, and the other half believe he will be Moses, because Moses appeared with Elijah in the presence of Jesus and because some of the miracles the Two Witnesses will perform were performed by Moses in Egypt. Matthew 17:1-7 "After six days, Jesus took with Him, Peter and James and John, the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Just then, there appeared before them Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus."
I personally think the other witness will be Enoch, because he is the only other man besides Elijah in the Bible who has not yet suffered death the first time. Enoch was the seventh generation from Adam and when Enoch was 365 years old, he walked with God and God took him. He did not die, but was taken alive into Heaven and the Bible clearly teaches that every man, woman and child must suffer death with the exception of those who will be raptured into Heaven in the last generation, "Our generation." Genesis 5:21-24 "When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 365 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. Enoch walked with God, then he was no more because God took him away." NIV
Paul also speaks of Enoch in Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God." NIV
The only other man the Bible refers to as having never suffered death is Elijah, who like Enoch was taken up into Heaven. 2 Kings 2:11-12 "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to Heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, 'My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!' And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart." NIV
In Hebrews 9:27-28, the Bible clearly teaches that man is destined to die once and after that, to face judgment. So, do not be misled into believing that just because Jesus brought several people back to life from the dead that they never died a second time. The only two men who never suffered death one time were Elijah and Enoch. So in order for God's Word to be true: That every person must suffer death, with the exception of those who will be raptured, the only option for the Two Witnesses are Elijah and Enoch, who will also suffer death in the middle of the seven-year Tribulation, but after three-and-half days, will be brought back to life and ascend back up into Heaven.
