SECTION TWENTY-FIVE

THE FIRST SET OF BOOKS OPENED AT THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT

The first set of books Jesus uses to judge man are called "The Book, My Book, Books or The Book of Life." In these books, God lists the names of every person who has ever lived and every thought and every deed they had ever committed. In Psalms 69:28, God says that even the name of a person whose name has been entered in the Book of Life who refused to obey Him will be blotted out of the book. Psalms 69:28 "May they be blotted out of the Book of Life and not be listed with the righteous." NIV

In Exodus 32:31-33, Moses went to the LORD after Aaron and the Israelites had made a false god of gold and said, "Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. But now, please forgive their sin--but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written." The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot out of My book. NIV

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LAW AND GRACE

1.  From the days of Adam to the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, I believe God judged man by his heart and his love for Him. I believe this also applies to everyone who has never heard the Gospel, even to this day.

2.
From the time God gave Moses the law to the death of Jesus, I believe God judged man by the law and his heart, and that the law and the ten commandments were given to man to prove to man that he was incapable of living up to the letter of the law.

3.
After Jesus was crucified, until the close of the 1000-year Millennium, yet future, I believe that every person who hears the Gospel lives in a state of Grace, which means that neither the law, our works nor our deeds have anything to do with our salvation. To receive salvation, eternal life, and the forgiveness of our sins, past, present and future, we must confess Jesus Christ with our mouth and believe in our heart that He is Lord and that He died for our sins.

THE SECOND BOOK JESUS WILL OPEN AT THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT IS CALLED THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE

The Lamb's Book of Life is the book Jesus writes your name down in when you are saved. He not only writes your name down in The Lamb's Book of Life, but He gives you a new name, which He also writes down in the Book. In The Lamb's Book of Life, Jesus also writes down all the good deeds you do from the moment you were saved. These good deeds have nothing to do with your salvation or you getting into heaven, but determines how many crowns and rewards you will receive when you get into heaven.

Even though The Lamb's Book of Life will be used at the Great White Throne Judgment, it will only be used to show the unrighteous who are being judged and are on their way to hell, that their name is not written down in The Lamb's Book of Life.

In the book of Revelation, John describes the Great White Throne Judgment. "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. Earth and the sky fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great, and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.  Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:11-15  NIV

To further establish the fact that not all self-confessing Christians will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus said this in Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name?'  "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' " NKJV

Right now, you are probably asking, "How can this be? How can anyone prophecy in God's name, cast out demons, and perform miracles without the help of God and the Holy Spirit?"

Only God knows the heart, as evidenced in Acts 15:8 regarding the Gentiles, "God, who knows the heart, showed that He accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them."  NIV

When a person accepts Jesus as his Personal Savior, he must believe in his heart, and confess with his mouth that Jesus Is LORD. To confess with the mouth is not enough, because it is the HEART, that opens the door to salvation and where the Holy Spirit dwells. This is why Jesus said, "Depart from Me, I never knew you." Jesus sees the heart of all men, and the good and evil in each man's heart.

As for the miracles these people will say they did in Jesus' Name, we have only to remember when Moses was in Egypt and the magicians of Pharaoh who were his wise men and sorcerers also turned a staff into a snake, water into blood and created frogs through the power of Satan.

In conclusion, all whose names are not written down in The Lamb's Book of Life will go to Hell, and be separated from God for all eternity.

After the Great White Throne Judgment, Death and Hell are cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-5   Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. NIV

YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON BUT YOU HAVE NEVER ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR - WILL YOU GO TO HEAVEN?

The answer is NO, NO, and then NO! In the gospel of John, Jesus told his disciples "No one comes to the Father, except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."  John 14:6-7  NIV

As far as being a good person is concerned, Isaiah 64:6 answers the question "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags." NIV

The Jews interpret Isaiah 64:6 to mean, used menstrual rags.

Be Forewarned that salvation cannot be earned, Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are you saved through faith; and not of yourself: It is a Gift of God, Not of Works, lest any man should boast."

To enter heaven without Christ, you must not only be a righteous man, but continually do good, and Paul tells us in Romans 3: 10-12, "There is no one righteous, not even one; 11 there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. 12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."  NIV

The things I say, I say not to frighten you, but that you might realize how much Jesus truly loves you and what He did for you, and the price He paid that you might have eternal life.

THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH

Immediately after the Great White Throne Judgment, Jesus will destroy renovate the current heavens and earth. This is not to say that He will destroy them completely as though they never existed, but that He will purify the earth and the heavens from sin by fire and restore them to their original beauty and glory, the way He originally created them perfect in the First Earth Age.

John describes how Jesus will bring down out of heaven the new city of Jerusalem.  Revelation 21:1-4   "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,  "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." NIV

In Revelation 21:5-7, Jesus says to those who would enter into the new earth. "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty, I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be My son."  NIV

In Isaiah 65, Isaiah tells us that the new earth that Jesus will create at the end of the 1000-year Millennium is an earth that will never end.

Isaiah 65:15 also tells us that all the sins and horrible things we did in life will be hidden from Jesus' eyes. "But to His servants He will give another name. Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth; he who takes an oath in the land and will swear by the God of truth. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My eyes."

"Behold, I will create a new heaven and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in My people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more."  NIV

A PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM THAT COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN

Finally in Revelation 21:11; 22:7, we get a real description of the New Jerusalem. "It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of The Lamb. The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates, and its walls. The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using. The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.

The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and The Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and The Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in The Lamb's Book of Life.

THE DIMENSIONS OF THE NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM

The New City of Jerusalem is in the shape of a cube, about 1,500 miles wide, 1,500 long and 1,500 miles high. The city is about the size of Europe and has 1,500 levels, with each level being a mile high.

Revelation 22:1-7 "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of The Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood The Tree of Life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of The Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him. They will see His face, and His Name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for The Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever."

"The angel said to me, 'These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show His servants the things that must soon take place.' "

"Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." NIV

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN?

John 3:1-12  Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."

3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the    Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

9 "How can this be?" Nicodemus asked.

10 "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? 11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavely things. NIV

Almost everyone including christians and non-christians alike have heard and been taught that to be born again in the flesh, you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. But what is the mystery of being born again in the spirit hidden in the scriptures.

In Ecclesiastes 12:7, Jesus explains a part of the answer when He says, "and the dust
(the body) returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it."  NIV

If the spirit returns to God, then the spirit could have only come from God. I believe that either before or soon after God created the angels, He also created the exact number of the spirits of man who would indwell men on earth, beginning with Adam and ending with the last person who would be born on earth.

Bible Reference: [Ephesians 1:3-14]  "Blessed be the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in
Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him, we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His
grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us
the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the
dispensation of the fullness of the times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both
which are in Heaven and which are on earth--in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His
will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him you also
trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed,
you were sealed with The Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory." NKJV

God Speaking of Jeremiah the prophet, Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."  NIV

I am convinced that our spirit was created in heaven and comes from God to indwell our fleshly body when we are in our mother's womb as pure and innocent, but after we are born and reach the age of accountability, because we are born into sin, in order for our spirit who is the real us to go back to heaven from which it came, our flesh along with our spirit must die to sin and self by accepting Jesus as our Lord that we might be born again as pure as we were in heaven, without spot or blemish.

WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE BORN AGAIN

You must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD, and that He died for your sins, arose on the third day and ascended into heaven. For only through Jesus Christ can you receive salvation and eternal life.

YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN

To receive salvation, say this prayer. Oh, Jesus, I am a sinner, I believe in my heart, and I confess with my mouth, that You are the Son of God, and that You died for my sins. I believe You rose from the dead on the third day that I might have eternal life. I accept You now as my LORD and Savior, and ask that You forgive my sins. Come into my heart, and change my life. Amen.

Dear friends, if you said this prayer from your heart, your future is now secure, and you are a new creature in Christ.  Even now, the angels in heaven rejoice before the throne of God as a witness to your salvation.

Your acceptance of Christ as your LORD and Savior has not only assured your salvation, but Jesus just wrote your name down in The Lamb's Book of Life. Not only has He written your name down in The Lamb's Book of Life, He has given you a new name. The name that you will be called by for all eternity.

Revelation 2:17 "To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it."  NIV

In this verse of scripture, "To him that overcomes" means to receive salvation, and  "I will give him some of the hidden manna," means that Jesus will give you truth, wisdom, knowledge and the understanding of the mysteries of the Bible through the Holy Spirit.

"I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it."  The white stone is The Lamb's Book of Life and the new name Jesus has given you will be revealed to you when you get to heaven.

WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU RECEIVE SALVATION

The next thing you will need to do is obtain a Bible and start reading it, even though you do not understand all that you are reading at first. In the beginning, I suggest a simple Bible that is easy to read and understand which you can purchase at any Bible bookstore. Just tell the clerk that you are a new Christian, and that you need a study Bible that you can easily read and understand.

The New International Study Bible is a good Bible to start with. Next, find a local church where the Word of God is taught, and start attending it regularly. When you find a church you think you like, don't be persuaded and influenced by emotion, but listen to the Holy Spirit inside you for counseling and guidance. There are many churches, but very few who have pastors who really teach the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prophecy and salvation. When you hear a pastor begging for money ten to twenty minutes before each offering, or who is constantly trying to sell you something every time he stands on the podium, run from that place, for the spirit of God is not there. This same advice goes for 90% of the evangelists you see on television and hear on the radio.

Several years ago, The Lord gave me a vision of the cleansing of the Church. There is coming a day very soon, that The Lord will sweep the floors of the churches of this land of the evil men who speak empty words that fall to the ground. And in their place, He will rise up new Spirit-filled pastors, teachers and prophets who speak and teach the Word of God. Men and women, filled with the Holy Spirit, who pray for the sick, see visions, interpret dreams, speak prophecy in the Name of The Lord, and reveal the mysteries of the Bible.

To the believers, I say, pray, and when you pray, pray expecting an answer to your prayer, and if it is the Will of The Lord, the Holy Spirit will bring your prayer to pass.  Remember, God knows the end from the beginning and He knew the very moment you would be saved and receive salvation because He chose you to be a son or daughter of God through Christ, before the creation of the earth.

Ephesians 1:3-5  Praise be to the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and Will.  NIV

This is not to say that God predestined us by His will to be saved, but that because He knows the end from the beginning, He saw us who would believe in our hearts, and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, before He created the earth.
