GOD - The Christian Bible that is the Word of God teaches that the Bible was written through the inspiration of The Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Godhead, and declares that God is a Triune God. One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages. God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God The Holy Spirit. "21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by The Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:20-21)

GOD -  is eternal, from the beginning, from everlasting to everlasting. "Stand up and praise the LORD your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting." (Nehemiah 9:5)

GOD - (God created all things) In the beginning God, (Elohim, plural for God, meaning more than one and includes God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit) created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

GOD - Thus saith the LORD (God the Father confirming that He and Jesus the Christ are one God, yet two personages and that He is) the King of Israel, and His Redeemer the LORD of Hosts (Jesus Christ is the Great) I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me, there is no god. (Isaiah 44:6)

GOD - Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me. (Isaiah 46:9)

GOD - (I tell you the truth, even) You (the un-redeemed) believe that there is one God.  Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder. (James 2:19)

GOD - "Am I only a God nearby,"  declares the LORD, "and not a God far away?  Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD.  "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.  (Jermiah 23:23-24).

GOD - (Speaks of the Triune God) "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you."  (Jeremiah 32:17).
(Jesus explains in Proverbs 8:22 that He was brought forth, not made, and not created, but brought forth). Proverbs 8:22  "The LORD possessed Me, brought Me forth as the first of His works.  Both possessed Me and brought forth [mean, to create by extension].   OT:7069 qanah (kaw-naw); a primitive root; to erect, i.e., create, by extension.

The LORD (God the Father) did not make or create Jesus, but rather I believe, He brought Jesus forth from out of Himself, and therefore, Jesus did not become God; He has always been God from the beginning, because God brought Him forth out of Himself.  Which means all that God is, was in God Jesus when God the Father brought Him forth.

In Proverbs 8:22  Jesus said, "I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began."

Jesus continues explaining how God the Father brought Him forth in Proverbs 8:22-30  "The LORD brought Me forth as the first of His works, before His deeds of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. When there were no oceans, I was given birth; when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth; before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world.  I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, when He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep His command, and when He marked out the foundations of the earth.  Then, I was the craftsman at His side." NIV

The word Craftsman in the preceding verse means to build, mould, or fashion, the materials which He God the Father called into existence through His Son, the second person of the Godhead, Jesus. 

Note also in the preceding paragraph, when Jesus speaks of God the Father, saying,  "Before He God the Father made the earth or its field or any of the dust of the world." He Jesus was talking about Himself in God, because when God the Father brought Jesus forth all that God is - was brought forth in Jesus, God the Son, when God the Father brought God Jesus forth - and it was Jesus, God the Son who was the Craftsman who created all things according to the will of God the Father.

In John 1:1-2  John tells us, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus is the Word, Jesus was with God, and Jesus is God brought forth in the beginning out of God.  For Jesus said, in Proverbs 8:22-30  "The LORD brought Me forth as the first of His works."

John goes on to say in John 1:3-4  "Through Him JESUS, all things were made; without Him, JESUS nothing was made that has been made."

PROPHECY JESUS CHRIST  Isaiah 7:13  The Lord Himself will give you a sign:  The virgin will be with child, will give birth to a son, and will call Him Emmanuel.  Which means "God with us." NIV

FULFILLED  An angel appeared to Joseph, the husband of Mary and said, Matthew 1:20-25  "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from The Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."

All this took place to fulfill what The Lord had said through the prophet:  "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Emmanuel"-which means, "God with us."

John concludes by saying,  "The Word, WHO IS GOD JESUS became flesh and made His dwelling among us.  We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

The words "came from the Father" actually mean, "God out of God full of grace and truth."

From the time that it was, there am I; and now, The Lord God, the Father and His Spirit The Holy Spirit, hath sent Me Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 48:16)

He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)

No one has ever seen God, (the Father), but God the One and Only, (Jesus the Christ)  who is at the Father's side, has made Him known. (John 1:18)

Jesus speaking 6 No one has seen the Father, except the one who is from God; only He has seen the Father. (John 6:46-47)

Jesus answered:  "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. (John 14:9)

1 TIMOTHY 2:5-6  For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men-the testimony given in its proper time. 

PROPHECY JESUS' death: Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone. 22 And He said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and He must be killed and on the third day, be raised to life." (Luke 9:21-22)

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. (1 Peter 1:18-21)

FULFILLED  The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. 7 Then, go quickly and tell His disciples: `He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.' Now I have told you." (Matthew 28:5-7)

If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile. (1 Corinthians 15:17).

Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25)

Jesus speaking to the apostles) "Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of:

1.  the Father,
2.  and of the Son, (Jesus Christ),
3.  and of The Holy Spirit. "Who is both the Spirit of God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ." (Matthew 28:19)

2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 The grace of The Lord, (Jesus Christ) and the love of God, (The Father), and the communion of The Holy Ghost, be with you all.  Amen.

1 PETER 1:2  (The redeemed) who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His Blood.

This same Jesus ...will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven. (Acts 1:11, John 14:3, 1Thessalonians 4:13:18)

We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one.  For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords,")  yet for us, (the redeemed) there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. (1 Corinthians 8:4-6)

God the Father speaking of God the Son Jesus Christ: But about the Son, He says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of Your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has set You above Your companions by anointing You with the oil of joy." (Hebrews 1:8-9)

Then Jesus came to them (the Apostles) and said "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me." (Matthew 28:17-18)

GOD - *JOHN 17:3-5 (Jesus speaking of  God the Father:  "Now this is eternal life: That they (the redeemed) may know You, the only true God, and  whom You have sent.  I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave me to do.  And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world began." (John 17:3-5)

God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24 

"Am I only a God nearby,"  declares the LORD, "and not a God far away?  Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD.  "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.

When the counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the father, the spirit of truth ... He will testify about me .  (John 15:26)

When He comes, He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)

When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. (John 16:13)

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit ... will teach you all things. (John 14:26)

Be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18; 3:16, 1Corinthians 3:16)

His Spirit, who lives in you. (Romans 8:11)

You, (redeened) however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, He does not belong to Christ. (Romans 8:9, 14 ,16)

Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to The Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land. Didn't it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn't the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men, but to God." (Acts 5:3-4)

Job speaking to God concerning The Holy Spirit)  Where can I go from your Spirit? (Psalm 139:7)

By the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit.  (Roman 15:19)

For there are three that testify: the Spirit, (who is The Holy Spirit) the water (God the Father) and the blood; (Jesus Christ) and the three are in agreement.  (1 John 5:7)

The grace of The Lord, (Jesus Christ) and the love of God, (The Father) and the communion of The Holy Ghost, be with you all.  Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. (Hebrews 2:3-4)

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.  There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

1. To one, there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom (instructions given to another to you concerning past, present or a future event or even a health issue that you may or may not be aware of),

2.  To another, the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit (a word of knowledge spoken over you by a prophet or prophetess concerning your life),

3.  To another, faith by the same Spirit, (a measure of faith is given to everyone who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but the same measure of faith is not given to all, increased or stronger faith is what the believer asks The Lord to give him continually),

4. To another, gifts of healing by that one Spirit (although the gift of healing is given to individuals, not all whom they pray over may be healed),

5.  To another, miraculous powers (involves miracle gifts, such as Moses parting the Red Sea, the wall of Jericho come tumbling down and authority to cast out demons out of demonically possessed people),

6.  To another, prophecy (the gift given to few to see future events, either through visions, dreams or The Holy Spirit speaking to their hearts),

7.  To another, distinguishing between spirits (the gift given to discern between spirits of God or demonic spirits; to some, God even gives these individuals the ability to smell demonic spirits possessing people),

8.  To another, speaking in different kinds of tongues (tongues can be interpreted as languages spoken by peoples of the world or the heavenly language spoken in Heaven: a language that Satan or his demons cannot understand or interpret),

9.  And to still another, the interpretation of tongues (the gift given by God to some to be able to interpret God's heavenly language for the edification of the Church or born-again believers). 

All these are the work of one and the same Spirit (who is The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God and Jesus), and He gives them to each one, just as He determines). (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

There is no one righteous, not even one. (Romans 3:10)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His Word has no place in our lives. (1 John 1:10)

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4)

All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. (1 John 5:17)

Everything that does not come from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)

Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. (James 4:17)

18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true-even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
NIV

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.  (1 John 1:8-10)

In Him, (Jesus Christ) we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Ephesians 1:7)

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver and gold that you were redeemed...but with the precious Blood of Christ. (1 Peter 1:18-19)

To Him (Jesus Christ) who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His Blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father. (Revelation 1:5-6)

Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. (Hebrews 9:22)

By making peace through His (Christ) Blood, shed on the Cross. (Colossians 1:20)

But when this priest through His Blood had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He (Jesus Christ) sat down at the right hand of God...because by one sacrifice, He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (Hebrews 10:12, 14)

In Him (Jesus Christ) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.  23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For,

"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,

25 but the word of the Lord stands forever."

And this is the word that was preached to you.

To all who received Him, (Jesus Christ)  to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the Name of God's one and only Son (Christ Jesus). (John 3:18)

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever does not, rejects the Son will not see life. (John 3:36)

He (Jesus) saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by The Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5)

We (the redeemed) are justified freely by His (God the Father) grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24)

That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:19-21)

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (Romans 10:4)

At the end of days, just before God destories the world as we know it and creatives the eternal earth, He will judge all the un-redeemed who have ever lived on the earth at what is called the "The Great White Throne Judgment" after which they will be cast them into the lake of fire for all eternity seperated from God.  And there will be crying nashing of teeth.

The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others, to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12:2)

Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Hebrws 9:27)

I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne...The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. (Revelation 20:12)

When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven...He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel...They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of The Lord. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10)

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. (Mark 9:45)

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:12-15)

And give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10)

3.  A Cult or False Religion is also a person, church, group or organization who, practice or teach any kind of witchcraft, fortune telling, communicating with the dead, spiritualism, reincarnation, or the worships of any other god, gods, or goddesses other than the God of the Christian Bible.  Or who believes they are a god, or that they can become a god.  Or who believes that there is any other name by which they can be saved other than the name of Jesus Christ.  Or who denies that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Son of God and that He died for our sins, arose on the third day, ascended into heaven and is coming back for his Church, "The redeemed born again believers who have accepted Him, Jesus Christ as their LORD and Personal Savior".

The following Cults / False Religions practice one or all of these false doctrines.

GOD - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not believe in the Trinity of God taught in the Christian Bible.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. Their teachings are contrary to the teaching taught in the Christian Bible, "Christian Science" is a cult.

GOD - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes in a combination Father-Mother God. They  believe that "God" is not the Christian God, but a "Hindu one." They also believe God is an impersonal principle of life, truth, love, intelligence, and spirit. God is not divine person, but the "divine principle" of all that exists. They also believe that the Christian God taught in the Christian Bible who is one co-equal and co-eternal God in three personages consisting of "God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit" is pagan.

GOD - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes "Matter and Persons" are also a Hindu concept, and that the material world does not exist, spirit is the only reality. They believe that the physical world and human body are only illusions, and that the body cannot be ill, suffer pain, or die, because matter is an illusion.

GOD - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes God is divine, supreme, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love and that he alone is all-in-all and that nothing is matter, real or has substance. They also believe that God is the soul intelligence of the universe, including the intelligence of humanity. In addition to these beliefs, they also believe that their God trinity is made up of Life, Truth, and Love, that they call Father-Mother--God, and that the Christ is the spiritual idea of sonship, and the Divine Science or the Holy Comforter.

(SH 330:11, Science and Health, 113:16, SH, 331:26-31, SH 113:18, SH 465:9, SH, 256:9-11).

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not believe that Jesus Christ is God, or the Son of God the second person of the Godhead. Nor do they believe He was the Christ. They believe "Jesus was but a mere man who displayed the "Christ" idea ("Christ" means perfection, not a person). He did not suffer and could not suffer for sins. He did not die on the cross, and he did not rise physically. He will not literally come back, and the Virgin Birth was a spiritual idea.

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes Jesus is a human man and Christ is the divine idea. (S@H, 473:15-16).

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that Mary received this revelation from God and gave the revelation the name Jesus, and that Jesus was conceived and came forth through her self-conscious communion with God and that Jesus is the human man and Christ is the idea.

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that after Jesus was crucified, he rose on the third day, but not in body, but in thought.  

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that "if there had never existed such a person as the Galilean Prophet, it would make no difference to them."

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not believe in a literal resurrection as taught in the Christian Bible.

JESUS CHRIST - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE has no clergy, no congregations... only lecture halls to read, and practice Hindu healing by "practitioners" in "services" under the cover of the Bible. (S@H, 473:15-16, First Church of Christ Scientist @ Misc., pp. 318:19,  SH, 29:17-18; 30:1, S@H, 509;4-7, S@H, 593;9).

THE HOLY SPIRIT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes The "Holy Spirit" is not God but an impersonal power which they define as the teachings of Christian Science and the development of eternal Life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE interpret John 14:16 "He will give you another Comforter" as The Comforter being Divine Science. Truth and Love SH, 588:78.  Sh, 55:27-29.  God is All in all" SH, 503:8-14.

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes evil is an illusion. That it has no basis. They believe that evil is a false belief and that God is not its author (Science and Health, 480).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not believe man is capable of sin, but that man is incapable of sin, sickness, and death  (SH, 475:28).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that the real man cannot depart from holiness (SH, 475:29).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that sin, sickness, and death are to be labeled effects of error, and that Christ came to destroy the belief of sin (SH, 473:4-6).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that evil is unreal (SH 339:9 =-10).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes the only reality of sin, sickness, or death is the awful fact that unrealities seem real to human belief until God strips off their disguise (SH, 472:27-28).

SIN - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that the opposite of their Truth is called error, and is sin, sickness, disease, and death, and is a false testimony of false material sense, of mind in matter (SH, 108:24-26).
 
REDEMPTION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes by recognizing that each person is as much a Son of God as Jesus is. There is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age. A person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes "perfect."

REDEMPTION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE also believes that the blood of Jesus has no power to cleanse us from sin, nor does Jesus have the power to forgive sin.  (SH, 25:6-9.

REDEMPTION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE also believes that there is but one way to heaven; harmony and Christ in Divine Science shows us this way. (SH, 25:6-9,  SH, 242:9-10; 244:5)

SALVATION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not believe in Jesus dying on the cross or that any one sacrifice was insufficient to the debt of sin for all mankind  (SH, 23:3-4).

SALVATION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes that Jesus of Nazareth taught and demonstrated man's oneness with the Father they call Divine Science (SH, 18:3-4).

SALVATION - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believes the only way to escape the misery of sin is to stop sinning. They believe there is no other way.  (SH, 23:3-4,  SH, 18:3-4,  SH, 327:12-13). 
JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does believe Hell is "Mortal belief, error, lust, remorse, hatred, revenge, sin, sickness, death...that which worketh abomination or maketh a lie." (SH, 588:1-4)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE does not belied that a final judgment awaits people. The judgment day of wisdom comes hourly and continually. (SH, 391:28-29)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believe that sin makes its own hell, and goodness its own heaven. (SH, 196:18-19)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believe that death is an illusion, the lie of life in matter; the unreal and untrue. (SH, 584:9-10)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believe that the body cannot die, because matter has no life to surrender. (SH, 426:30-31)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believe that universal salvation rests on progression and probation. (SH, 426:30-31)

JUDGMENT - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE believe that if man should not progress after death, but should remain in error, he would be inevitably self-annihilated. (Misc. Writings, pg.2)

GOD - ISLAM does not believe in the Trinity of God taught in the Christian Bible.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. Their teachings are contrary to the teaching taught in the Christian Bible.

GOD - ISLAM believes in a God they call Allah, which means "God" in Arabic. "We shall not serve anyone but God, and we shall associate none with Him" (Koran 3.64).

GOD - Islam believes Allah is God, and Muhammad is his prophet.  They do not worship Muhammad.

JESUS CHRIST - ISLAM believes Allah, is God, and Muhammad is his prophet.  They do not worship Muhammad as god. They do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that God does not have children.

JESUS CHRIST - ISLAM believes that Muhammad was the last prophet in a line that included Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - ISLAM does not believe in the Holy Spirit nor in the trinity of God taught in the Christian Bible.  Muslim scholars see the angel Gabriel as the Holy Spirit.

SIN - ISLAM presents a "straight path" of clearly defined duties and commands. Islamic morals are a combination of genuine acts of love and legalistic performances.

REDEMPTION - ISLAM  Although Islam believe that Allah is a loving god, the Koran rejects the belief of redemption. Islam believes salvation depends on a man's works, actions, attitude and sacrifices. However, tauba (repentance) can save him through his works for Allah.  Islam believes that people outside of Islam are infidels, and should be killed if they do not convert to Islam and worship Allah.

Islam believes that the only sure way to get into heaven is to kill infidels by martyring themselves in the process.  By martyring themselves, Moslems believe that they will go to heaven where they will be given seventy virgins to satisfy their every desire.

SALVATION - ISLAM Acts of worship in Islam are embodied in the Five Pillars: (1) a Muslim must recite the basic creed: "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His Prophet;" (2) recite prayers of praise to Allah five times daily while facing Mecca; (3) give money to the poor; (4) fast for one month a year (daytime only); and, (5) make a pilgrimage at least once to Mecca, the city where Allah revealed the Koran to Muhammad.

JUDGMENT - ISLAM believes that on that last day, Allah will judge all men, and every person will account for what they have done. Eternal existence will be determined on the basis of those actions: "Every man's actions have we hung around his neck, and on the last day shall be laid before him a wide-open book." (Koran 17.13)

JUDGMENT - ISLAM believes each human being has two angels assigned to them.  One angel to write down all the good deeds and One angel to write down all the bad deeds.

JUDGMENT - ISLAM believes these two angels will be by him at the coming judgment and present his deeds before Allah.

The Koran provides vivid descriptions of both heaven and hell. It depicts heaven as containing earthly treasures. Hell, in contrast, describes details of pain and torture. Muslims disagree as to whether those descriptions are to be taken literally or not.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS  does not believe in the Trinity of God taught in the Christian Bible.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. Their teaching are contrary to the teaching taught in the Christian Bible.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes the Holy Trinity is seen as a demonic doctrine, the Holy Spirit does not exist. Jesus Christ is stripped of his deity, is not God!, the Holy Spirit is robbed of his personality...they deny the physical resurrection of Christ, and there is not eternal Hell... their doctrines on the sufficiency of Christ's atonement, on human government, and on the existence of the soul are not biblical.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes there is no Trinity, Let God be True, p. 100-101; Make Sure of All Things, p.386.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes the Holy Spirit is a force, not alive, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp.  406-407.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes the Holy Spirit is God's impersonal active force, The Watchtower, June 1, 1952,    p. 24.

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes the obvious conclusion is that Satan is the originator of the trinity doctrine (LG, p. 101).

GOD - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes Elohim (the name they call God) is the plural of majesty, it does not mean that he is mysteriously a trinity (New Heaven and New Earth, p. 36).

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes that Jesus is not God, but just the "son of God," like you and I.

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man, The Watchtower, May 15, 1963, p. 307; The New World, 284.

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes Jesus was only a perfect man, not God in flesh, Reasoning from the Scriptures,  1985, pp. 306.

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes Jesus began his invisible rule over the earth in 1914, The Truth Shall Make You Free,    p. 300.

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes Jesus' ransom sacrifice did not include Adam, Let God be True, p.  119.

JESUS CHRIST - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS.believes the cross is a pagan symbol and should not be used, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp. 90-92.

SIN - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes that the original sin caused humans to inherit death and sin. Satan and his demons pervade the earth as spirits tempting all to sin, which God allows as a test of faith in Him.

REDEMPTION - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes witnesses are told to work hard according to the teaching of the Jehovah's Witness.

SALVATION - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes that only their church members will be saved, The Watchtower, Feb, 15, 1979, p. 30.

SALVATION - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes good works are necessary for salvation, Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 1,  pp. 150, 152.

SALVATION - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes salvation is by faith and what you do, Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 1, pp. 150,152.

SALVATION - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes it is possible to lose your salvation, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp. 358-359.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS  believes the witnesses are told to work hard "now" because from that Day, the 144,000 "anointed ones" since 1914 will live forever as kings and priests in heaven, as told in Revelation 7 and 20; and the "Great Multitude" of Revelation 7, will rise from their graves to live forever on earth like in a paradise, ruling earth under the tutelage of the 144,000 during the "Millennium"...but only the good Witnesses!...the rest of the wicked people will be annihilated in the Millennium...and the "apostate Witnesses" will not raise from the grave on Judgment Day, at the Second Coming of Christ.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS  believes when Jesus finally returns physically to earth, which will happen at the time of the Battle of Armageddon, He will set up his earthly 1000-year kingdom. During this 1000-year period, people will be resurrected soul and body and have a second chance to receive eternal salvation by following the principles of Jehovah's Organization on earth known as the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. After the millennium, those who reject God and His organization will be annihilated; that is, they will cease to exist. The rest of the Jehovah's Witness who have faithfully followed God's organization on earth will be saved from eternal annihilation and reside forever on Paradise earth.

Heaven, however, is a place for a special group of 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses -- the only ones who are "born again" and who alone are allowed to take communion in their annual communion service. These are the ones who have "immortal life," all other Witnesses have "everlasting life."  Those with immortal life do not have resurrected bodies. They have "spirit bodies." Those on Paradise Earth have everlasting life and consist of a resurrected body that must be maintained through eating, rest, etcetera.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes the soul ceases to exist after death, Let God be True, p. 59, 60, 67.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes there is no hell of fire where the wicked are punished, Let God be True, p. 79, 80.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes only 144,000 Jehovah's Witness go to heaven, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp. 166-167, 361; Let God be True, p. 121.

JUDGMENT - JEHOVAH'S WITNESS believes only the 144,000 Jehovah's Witness are born again. Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p. 76.; Watchtower 11/15/54, p. 681.

GOD - FREEMASONRY does not believe in the Trinity of God. One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible, and classifies the "Masonic Lodge" as a Cult.

GOD - FREEMASONRY believes the secret name of the deity (their god) they alone know as the true name of God to be "JAHBULON."  "JAO" is the Greek word for Jehovah. "BUL" is a rendering of the name BAAL. "ON" is the term used in the Babylonian mysteries to call upon the deity "Osiris" who was the Egyptian god of the dead and the underworld. (Osiris was the ancient Egyptian god whose annual death and resurrection personified the self-renewing vitality and fertility of nature).

GOD - FREEMASONRY  believes "The All Seeing Eye" is a Masonic representation of Osiris). Only three Royal Arch Masons, when they kneel down together, with intertwined hands under the Royal Arch are allowed to whisper this presumed sacred name.

GOD - FREEMASONRY  For a Mason, the only "acting God" is the "Lodge" and the "Worshipful Master." "All specific conceptions of God are idolatrous, except Masonry's" (Morals and Dogma, p.516).

GOD - FREEMASONRY  This "deistic God" is a boundless, eternal, universal, undenominational and international Divine Spirit...but "unapproachable" ...the only approachable "acting god" is the Worshipful Master. So, a Mason may believe in only one God, but Freemasonry welcomes all Masons' gods in the same Pantheon, as far as the allegiance in the Lodge is to the Worshipful Master, and any other god cannot even be mentioned.

GOD - FREEMASONRY  The so-called "Grand Architect of the Universe," after the 3rd degree is not "a person" ...it is "nature," a "force,"  "energy"  ...a "stone," a "star," "you," "I"  ...it is "it," not "he"  ...a most cunning way to deceive the first three degrees, most of the Masons.

GOD - FREEMASONRY  believe "God the Father" of the Bible, is not the "Almighty Father of the Universe" of the Masonry prayers: God the Father is a "person," the Almighty of the Masons "is not a person" after the third degree, it is "energy," "nature" ...it is not "he," it is "it."

GOD - FREEMASONRY  The capital "G" of the emblem stands for "God" or "Grand Architect of the Universe" but also stands for "Geometry, Gnosis, Generation," the real divine trinity of the Masons.

FREEMASONRY does not believe the Bible, which is the Word of God, is the inspired Word of God.
 
JESUS CHRIST - FREE MASONRY For the Craft, Jesus Christ is not God, or he is god as much as you and I are gods, or a stone is god. Masonry completely excludes all particular biblical teachings about Christ such as His incarnation, redemptive mission, death, and resurrection. In fact, no biblical truth about Jesus Christ is affirmed by Masonry.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - FREEMASONRY The actual attitude of Masonry: "The Blue Lodge Masonry has nothing whatever to do with the Bible. It is not founded on the Bible. If it were, it would not be Masonry. The Jews, the Chinese, the Turks, each reject either the Old or New Testament, or both, and yet we see no good reason why they should not be made Masons." (Digest of Masonic Law, Pp.207-2080).

SIN - FREEMASONRY has no real concept of sin or salvation within the Lodge. Much like the cults, the emphasis is on works and good living, and improvements to one's life is sufficient to be saved, i.e., works or good deeds guarantee entrance to Mason heaven. (7, pg. 13)

SIN - FREEMASONRY with so bad a morality that most of its open claims are "false claims:" It is a religion, a substitute for religion; it dishonors the Bible and the Koran; it is not a merely fraternal brotherhood; it has many rites of the occult.

REDEMPTION - FREEMASONRY inculcates the practice of virtue, but supplies no scheme of redemption of sin!... - Masonry, without "revelation" of God, with only "reason" knows very little about the real "God" and about the real eternal "soul," and about the real eternal "Heaven" or "Hell."

SALVATION - FREEMASONRY teaches a way to salvation which considers Jesus, Buddha, Confucius and Mohammed spiritual leaders and messengers of the "Grand Architect of the Universe" called "GOD."

SALVATION - FREEMASONRY believe "Heaven" is mentioned as "the perfect and glorious Lodge above where the Supreme Architect of the Universe presides"...but that "Lodge above" is not the Heaven of the Bible or Koran, because for Masonry "god" is not a person, and the "Lodge above" is neither a place nor an estate. It is to be "in god" like a stone is...it is just a deception to face death because "after death," every soul becomes god, like a drop of water in the ocean, "without being a person."

SALVATION - FREEMASONRY believe the two tenets of Masonry "believe in God, and in the immortality of the soul" are the greatest deceptions of Masonry because "God" is not a person, and the "soul" is not what we think, but it is like the "soul" of a star, or a bird...and this is why the third great Rite of Masonry, the "Grand Orient of France" admits atheists as Masons, and they are perfect Masons, without believing in God or in the immortality of the soul.

JUDGMENT - FREEMASONRY  The "Hell" of the Bible and Koran is never ever mentioned in the doctrines or rituals of Masonry.

JUDGMENT - FREEMASONRY believes they will eventually become a god through reincarnation. Their members, to symbolize divine purity and a shield of protection for them when they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment, wear white aprons.

GOD - MORMONISM does not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible, and classifies "Mormonism" as a Cult.

GOD - MORMONISM believe "God the Father" was once a man, but became God. They believe God the Father has a physical body. They believe he also has a physical wife called the Heavenly Mother and that she also has a physical body.  They believe the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three separate gods and that worthy human men may one day become gods themselves (Alma 11:44, Mosiah 15:5, 2 Nephi 31:21, Articles of Faith, Talmage, pag.35, 1985).

GOD - MORMONISM believes the heads of the Gods appointed our God for us  (Teaching of the Prophet Jos. Smith, pp. 370-72).

JESUS CHRIST - MORMONISM "Jesus Christ" like God the Father, for the Mormons is "eternal" because he has no end, like any other man, but he is "not eternal" because he had a beginning: He was born from Adam (who was God), by sexually cohabiting with the Virgin Mary in a physical, flesh relationship. Brigham declared emphatically, "Jesus was not begotten by the Holy Ghost." Jesus was married and had children with the two sisters of Lazarus, Maria and Martha... and Jesus became God, as you and I can become God, like Him!... everything contrary of what the real Bible says! Another strange thing of the Mormons: Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.
 
THE HOLY SPIRIT - MORMONISM Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three separate gods. Worthy men may one day become gods themselves.

SIN - MORMONISM believes that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.

REDEMPTION - MORMONISM believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

SALVATION - MORMONISM Jesus became God, as you and I can become God, like Him!... everything contrary of what the real Bible says!

JUDGMENT - MORMONISM believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.

JUDGMENT - MORMONISM believe the "Book of Mormon." "Doctrines and Covenants" and "The Pearl of Great Price"...are often in open contradiction with the doctrines of the Bible. Even to the Bible, Smith added 125 verses in the New Testament, and changed a total of 1,475 verses in the Bible. So, it is the Bible, but it is not the Bible!

JUDGMENT - MORMONISM believes God Is Not omnipresent, and He cannot be physically present in more than one place at a time (Talmage, DC p. 48).

JUDGMENT - MORMONISM believes that "Women" cannot become priests or church leaders, and cannot become gods after death.

GOD - NEW AGE MOVEMENT does not believe in the Trinity of God. One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible, and classifies the "New Age Movement" as a Cult.

The "mortal omnipotence" obtained by occult divinatory devices... or by hallucinogenic drugs, hypnosis....

3. "You will be like God:" "Pantheism" is the heart of the New Age: "God is all and all is God"... because God "is not a person," it is "Energy," "the Force"... God is not "He" but "It," a stone, a star, you, I... any atom has energy!....

4. Wisdom: "Knowing good and evil:" It is the fourth lie of Satan: The New Age doctrine is essentially an extreme "naturalism:" The "mother earth," "Gaia" is God, and beyond the "personal transformation" is the New Age goal of "planetarian transformation." "Pollution" is got to be stopped... because we all are "Planetary Citizens" living in only one village, the "Global Village."

GOD - NEW AGE MOVEMENT  In this new knowledge, music and arts are of the "natural:" singing birds, rivers, mountains, the music of rain, storms, the oceans, the desert. 1.  Obeying a Guru, who is like god for them.
2. Live a very austere life: They sleep 6 hours on a hard floor, no alcohol, no meat, no fish, no conversation unrelated to Krishna. They give up all possessions. If anyone tries to talk with them out of Krishna, he is of Satan. Live in celibacy until marriage, and then they can have sex only after repeating the mantra for 5 hours.3- Chant the mantra for at least 5 hours daily, pray the Gita, receive indoctrination, and hard work!

SIN - DIVINE LIGHT MISSION KRISHNA Their teachers live in super-luxury, surrounded by many women, following the example of the 16,108 lovers Krishna had, and in the name of Krishna, have done anything bad you can think of: murder, drug-running, sexual abuse, theft, deception, extortion, suicide.

REDEMPTION - DIVINE LIGHT MISSION KRISHNA They use the "pigtails" to be plucked up by Krishna when he rescues them at the time of the deliverance of the world...however, they use "wigs" for the many money-making schemes: charities, asking money for the poor, orphans, Vietnam widows, against drugs, working in big sports events , pop concerts, selling car stickers and badges without permission.

SALVATION - ZEN BUDDHISM does not believe in salvation or a god who offers salvation but that are perfected through reincarnation.

In Zen, no one needs salvation. "If I believe that I must achieve my salvation, I cannot avoid believing that I must lead others to do the same. The refutation of this error that we are here studying is perfectly expounded in Zen, and as far as we know, nowhere perfectly but there.  Zen tells man that he is free now, that no chain exists which he needs to throw off; he has only the illusion of chains. Man will enjoy his freedom as soon as he ceases to believe that he needs to free himself, as soon as he throws from his shoulders the terrible duty of salvation" (Sohl and Carr, pp. 48-49). Of course, this goes against everything that the Bible teaches. Such a claim ridicules the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sins of the world (John 3:16). The above quote explains why many would call such teachings as Zen, nothing more than the glorification of self or self-worship.

2- Transcendent, being beyond the limits of all possible experience and knowledge, being beyond comprehension, Brahman is entirely impersonal, and entirely impersonal, and entirely impossible to describe, is perfect and beyond complete human understanding.

JESUS CHRIST - HINDUISM believes in a savior they call Lord Vishnu, and that he is not only their savior but the protector of mankind. They believe he incarnates, 10 times and the last time, as Kalki. He is yet to come the 10th time.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - HINDUISM believes in a god they call Lord Shiva, he is the destroyer of evil, and the creator of new life, and sustainer of life, the cosmic lord.

SIN - HINDUISM believes in karma.

REDEMPTION - HINDUISM believes the final aim of life, the ultimate dream of a Hindu is "moska," the final union of his soul with Brahman, with no more reincarnations, the liberation of the curse of reincarnation.

Bahá'u'lláh's claim to fulfill the eschatological promises of previous scriptures coincides with his mission to establish a firm basis for unity throughout the world, and inaugurate an age of peace and justice, which Bahá'ís expect will inevitably arise. They do not believe that Jesus was the son of God, and that He is God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - BAHAISM believes that the Trinity in a symbolic rather than literal.

SIN - BAHAISM rejects the notion of man having a sin nature and they deny the existence of Satan and evil as a force.

The Baha'i Faith does not, therefore, accept the concept of original sin or any related doctrine which considers that people are basically evil or have intrinsically evil elements in their nature. All the forces and faculties within us are God-given and thus potentially beneficial to our spiritual development. In the same way, the Baha'i teachings deny the existence of Satan, a devil or an evil force. Evil, it is explained, is the absence of good; darkness is the absence of light; cold is the absence of heat. Just as the sun is the unique source of all life in a solar system, so ultimately is there only one force or power in the universe, the force we call God. . . . 'Abdu'l-Baha' has said that evil is imperfection.

Satan, heaven and hell are also allegorically understood by the Baha'is, being only symbolic.

Baha'u'llah explained that references to Satan in the Scriptures of earlier religions are symbolic and should not be taken literally. Satan is the personification of man's lower nature which can destroy him if it is not brought into harmony with his spiritual nature.

In the same way, heaven and hell are Baha'u'llah taught, not literal places. Rather, they symbolize the psychological and spiritual states of being close to God or far from him. Heaven is the natural consequence of spiritual progress, while hell represents the results of failure to progress spiritually.

REDEMPTION - BAHAISM denies the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. They believe the gospel accounts should be taken allegorically. 'Abdu'l-Baha' states:

Therefore, we say that the meaning of Christ's resurrection is as follows: the disciples were troubled and agitated after the martyrdom of Christ. The Reality of Christ, which signifies His teachings, His bounties, His perfections and spiritual power, was hidden and concealed for two or three days after His martyrdom, and was not resplendent and manifest. No, rather it was lost, for the believers were few in number and were troubled and agitated. The Cause of Christ was like a lifeless body; and when after three days, the disciples became assured and steadfast, and began to serve the Cause of Christ, and resolved to spread the divine teachings, putting his counsels into practice, and arising to serve Him, the reality of Christ became resplendent and His bounty appeared; His religion found life; His teachings and His admonitions became evident and visible. In other words, the Cause of Christ was like a lifeless body until the life and the bounty of the Holy spirit surrounded it.

Such is the meaning of the resurrection of Christ, and this was a true resurrection.

SALVATION - BAHAISM believes Salvation is not obtained by realizing our separation from God and by receiving Christ as our Savior, but by believing in the manifestation of God in the age in which we live and by following his teachings. Baha'i writers Hatcher and Martin explain:

Baha'u'llah repeatedly stressed that only revealed religion can save us from our imperfections. It is because God has sent his Manifestations to show us the path to spiritual development and to touch our hearts with the spirit of God's love that we are able to realize our true potential and make the effort to be united with God. This is the salvation that religion brings. It does not save us from the stain of some original sin, nor does it protect us from some external evil force or devil. Rather, it delivers us from captivity to our own lower nature, a captivity that breeds private despair and threatens social destruction, and it shows us the path to a deep and satisfying happiness.

JUDGMENT - BAHAISM believes Heaven and Hell are taught to be spiritual states of nearness or distance from God that describe relationships in this world and the next, and not physical places of reward and punishment achieved after death.

GOD - YOGA does not believe in the Trinity of God. One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible.

GOD - YOGA believes that Narayana of fierce energy, the Creator and Destroyer of all, that preceptor of God, or Brahman, is both within and beyond the universe (panentheism); in it, but not of it, simultaneously pervading it and surpassing it.

GOD - YOGA "Tantra is that Asian body of beliefs and practices which, working from the principle that the universe we experience is nothing other than the concrete manifestation of the divine energy of the Godhead that creates and maintains that universe, seeks to ritually appropriate and channel that energy, within the human microcosm, in creative and emancipatory ways."

GOD - YOGA (Sanskrit): A group of ancient spiritual practices originating in India. As a general term in Hinduism: it has been defined as referring to "technologies or disciplines of asceticism and meditation which are thought to lead to spiritual experience and profound understanding or insight into the nature of existence." Yoga is also intimately connected to the religious beliefs and practices of the other East Indian religions. Outside India, Yoga is mostly associated with the practice of asanas (postures) of Hatha Yoga or as a form of physical exercise, although it has influenced the entire Indian religion family and other spiritual practices throughout the world.

GOD - YOGA Popular authors such as Joseph Campbell helped to bring Tantra into the imagination of the peoples of the West. Tantra came to be viewed by some as a "cult of ecstasy,"combining sexuality and spirituality in such a way as to act as a corrective force to Western repressive attitudes about sex.

God - YOGA believes The Bhagavad Gita ('Song of the Lord') uses the term yoga extensively in a variety of senses. Of many possible meanings given to the term in the Gita, most emphasis is given to these three: Karma yoga: the yoga of action, Hatha yoga contains substantial tantric influence, and marks the first point at which chakras and kundalini were introduced into the yogic canon. It also marks the development of asanas as full body 'postures' in the modern sense; Bhakti yoga: the yoga of devotion, and Jnana yoga: the yoga of knowledge.

JESUS CHRIST - YOGA Tantra, being a development of early Hindu~Vedic thought, embraced the Hindu gods and goddesses, especially Shiva and Shakti, along with the Advaita philosophy that each represents an aspect of the ultimate Para Shiva, or Brahman. These deities may be worshiped externally with flowers, incense, and other offerings; but, more importantly, are engaged as attributes of Ishta Devata meditations, the practitioners either visualizing themselves as the deity [does not believe in a "Jesus"] or experiencing the darshan (vision) of the deity.
THE HOLY SPIRIT - YOGA is the inhibition (nirodhaḥ) of the modifications (vṛtti) of the mind (citta)." "Yoga is restraining the mind-stuff (Citta) from taking various forms (Vrittis)." This is Yoga's version of the Christian Holy Spirit: who is the mind and authority of God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - YOGA It focuses on shatkarma, the purification of the physical as leading to the purification of the mind (ha), and prana, or vital energy (tha).

SIN - YOGA Maya conceals Reality and separates it into opposites, such as conscious and unconscious, pleasant and unpleasant, and so forth. These determining conditions if not realized as illusion will bind, limit and fetter (pashu) the individual (jiva).

SIN - YOGA Rather than being a reward for good deeds that is achieved after death, however, liberation is experienced in this very life as a dissolution of the sense of self as an egoistic personality by which the underlying, eternal, pure spirit is uncovered.

REDEMPTION - YOGA believes in the evolution or the 'outgoing current' is only one half of the functioning of Maya. Involution, or the 'return current,' takes the jiva back towards the source or root of Reality, revealing the infinite. Tantra is understood to teach the method of changing the 'outgoing current' into the 'return current,' transforming the fetters created by Maya into that which 'releases' or 'liberates'. This view underscores two maxims of Tantra: "One must rise by that by which one falls" and "the very poison that kills becomes the elixir of life when used by the wise."

SALVATION - YOGA believes liberation is to Indian religions as salvation is to Christianity. This desireless state concludes the yogic path through which conditioned mentality-materiality or nama-roopa (lit. name-form) has been dissolved uncovering one's eternal identity prior to the mind/spirit's identification with material form.

JUDGMENT - YOGA Liberation is achieved by (and accompanied with) the complete stilling of all passions - a state of being known as Nirvana.

GOD - SANTERIA  Although practitioners of Santeria believe they are worshiping the God of the Christian Bible, they err by combining orishas or demonic spirits also called demon spirits in their worship.  Santeria is a serious cult.

The Cuban Yoruba often used the iconography of Catholic saints to express their devotion to Yoruba spirits called orishas. The name Santería, "the way of the saints," is the most common Spanish word used to describe these practices and the word santero (m.) or santera (f.) indicates an initiated devotee. Later, generations of santeros would construct elaborate systems of correspondences between orishas and saints, leading observers to see this Caribbean religion as a model for understanding religious syncretism and cultural change. Santería means, in addition to "the way of the saints," "the worship of the saints." Santeros identify the saints with the Yoruba orishas. All of the orishas or demonic spirits, worshiped by believers of Santeria have been given a Catholic identity.

GOD - SANTERIA  believes the believers who practice Santeria believe that included in the orishas are both saints and angels, but are in reality, demonic spirits.  They believe these demonic spirits they call intermediaries or axe (ashé) are a divine force, much like the Christian state of grace. 

GOD - SANTERIA  believes possession by these demonic spirits is one of the important trademarks of this group. Possession by these gods and spirits is desired for purposes of divination, healings, magic, and sensual practices.

In recent years, with the arrival of Cuban santeros, the African Court has been added to the pantheon of Maria Lionza. As in other lands where Santería has left its mark, the African orishas demon spirits have been identified with their equivalent Catholic saint. Obatalá is the Virgin of Mercedes. Yemaya is Our Lady of Regla. Chango is represented by Saint Barbara. Elegguá appears as Saint Anthony or Saint Roque. Oshún is Our Lady de la Caridad del Cobre. Orunmila is Saint Francis of Assisi. The identification of the Yoruba traditions with Catholicism does not end with the orishas and the saints.

it was required of initiates to be baptized Catholics. As in the Catholic tradition, holy water is vital in Santería ritual. Some priests even bottle holy water to sale to the "botánicas" (herb shops) where santeros shop. Santeros insist that devotees attend Catholic mass. Candles are lit in honor of the orishas. Special masses are conducted on the birthdays of orishas.

GOD - SANTERIA  devotees prefer to say that Santería has opened up to them contact with benevolent gods and spirits. Followers of the "way of the saints" often boast that the Christian God has little time for, or interest in, the daily affairs of His children while, on the other hand, the gods of Santería are eager to interact with santeros.

One confronts him or her face to face, either as a force of nature - or, better yet, when the orisha has taken possession of his or her children. For at this time, it is not only possible to talk to an orisha; the orisha can also answer back. There is something very moving and strangely comforting in speaking face to face with an orisha. It reminds us that somehow God is near, that he cares, that we are not alone. It is this strong interaction with the orishas that makes Santería such a powerful and dynamic religion and explains its growing popularity.

Oludamare, also called Olofí, is the name given to God, the owner of all destinies. Santería teaches that Oludamare is the ultimate destiny of all creation. To know one's destiny is to experience order. This is accomplished through divination. God Almighty is called Oludamare.

Ashé (ah-SHAY) is defined as "Power, grace, blood, the life force of God, the orishas, and nature." Ashé is considered the source of everything. It is the force that maintains order and balance in the universe. The concept of ashé is central to understanding the right and wrong in Santería. Ashé - from the Yoruba Ase - is, like the Hindu term dharma, a dynamic and hard-to-define concept. While the word ashé has become part of the popular Cuban lexicon, meaning "luck" or "charisma," its ontological meaning is much deeper, referring to a sense of order and balance in the universe. Ashé is the ultimate source of everything.

In order to combat the forces that cause imbalance in ashé, the santero needs a power source. That source is the orishas. Orishas are personal manifestations of ashé. The most important orishas are those that are called the "siete potencias." In English, they are referred to as the seven empowering orishas, or the Seven African Powers. Only they can be ritually placed, or installed, inside the santero's head.

They are considered manifestations of God and give the santero power to carry out desired actions. An orisha chooses a priest, called a babaloa, to whom is given the power of divination. Ifa is not installed, or "seated" in the head of the santero. Rather, he is received into his very soul.

Knowledge of the attributes and characteristics of Elegguá is fundamental for the practitioner of Santería: Both loved and feared, he is an orisha of vast importance. He has many manifestations, more than any other orisha. Elegguá is the Lord of the Crossroads, a title that alludes to the orisha's control over people's destinies. As Guardian of the Gates, Elegguá protects homes and opens the gates of opportunity for those he favors. Elegguá is also God's messenger and as such is the only orisha other than the great Obatalá to know the secret place where God Almighty, Oludamare, resides. Because of all his attributes, wherever the orisha are revered, Elegguá is the first orisha to be propitiated.

Keeping Elegguá happy is a major concern to all santeros. The babaloa then receives the ability to reveal a person's destiny through the many methods of divination. Thus, he is respected as one through whom the gods grant the inquirer an understanding of his destiny. Therefore, order is maintained.

While Maria Lionza, worshipped as "the goddess, Queen, and Mother," remains the central character in the cult, the African orishas of Santería have joined her courts. There are several courts that surround the "Queen." Among them are the Celestial Court, made up of all of the saints. There is the Indian Court, composed of the greatest Indian chiefs of past Venezuelan history. One of the most important courts is the Court of Simon Bolivar, the liberator of Venezuela. In addition to the spirits of Venezuelan national heroes, those of famous historical figures, such as John Kennedy, Stalin, Hitler, and Pope John XXIII also grace this court.

JESUS CHRIST - SANTERIA Followers of Santeria adorn their houses with statues and photographs of Catholic saints, the virgin Mary, and Jesus Christ. This would not in itself seem so unusual if it were not for the altars lavished with flowers, fruits, and vegetables that surround the statues. Perplexity increases in the mind of the missionary as these "faithful" make their way to neighborhood "botánicas" (herb shops) to buy special plants, spices, candles, roots, incenses, powders, magical beads, amulets, and a wide variety of magical paraphernalia. All of these items will be used in connection with the statues of the saints for the purpose of invoking aid from the unseen spirit world.

JESUS CHRIST - SANTERIA The image representing the Seven African Powers shows a circular chain interspersed with the seven medals of the Catholic saints identified with the oriishas, but with the Yoruba names inscribed on the medals. At the bottom of the chain are the seven implements of Oggun. In the background, there is a crucifix with all the various elements of the crucifixion. The name at the feet of the cross is Olofí, showing the accepted identification of Jesus with the Yoruba super deity.

JESUS CHRIST - SANTERIA the supreme deity, and the father of all the gods, is "Olurun," represented by Jesus Christ on the cross. But the three most popular are "Obatalá" (O.L. of Mercy"); "Changó" (St. Barbara); and "Ochún" (Virgin of Charity)... but these gods are no God, they practice adultery, homosexuality, incest, they hate and fight each other... for example, "Yemayá" (Virgin of Regla), had 14 children in incest-impossible relations with her son "Orungán" (Baby Jesus)... there are "gods-demons"!... demons!... (Psalms 96:5  For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 6 Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and glory are in His sanctuary. NIV)

THE HOLY SPIRIT - SANTERIA Olofí (Oludamare) is the Holy Spirit.

SIN - SANTERIA believe that all of the orishas have power to bless and to curse. However, all offerings and homage paid to the others will be useless if Elegguá has not been satisfied first.        

REDEMPTION - SANTERIA  Ebo, sacrifice, is central to the belief system of Santería. The orishas demand sacrifices as means of propitiation. Sacrifices may take on many forms such as feasts, baths, cigar smoke, initiations, and special food offerings. The santero believes that the ashé of the sacrifice is consumed by the orisha. Ashé is invisibly received in vegetable sacrifices while it is transmitted to the orisha through the blood of animal sacrifices.

SALVATION - SANTERIA Converts by the thousands are looking for answers to life's difficult questions and sadly error by believing the lie of Santeria and worshiping demons spirits camouflaged in a cult, disguised as saints.

The Christian missionary knows that salvation and fulfillment can only be found in Jesus Christ. Those who truly believe this must not neglect to carry the message of the cross to the "santeros."

JUDGMENT - SANTERIA Success in pleasing Elegguá can result in victory over the worst situations, while failure to make him (a demonic spirit) happy can bring calamity upon the most powerful and contented people.

To effectively witness in the power of the Holy Spirit, missionaries must be aware of the presence of powers utilized by the enemy to keep people in bondage. For those serving in Latin America is the need for a better understanding of Santería's influence upon the population.

GOD - Trenty of God SATANISM do not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible, and classifies Satanism as a cult.

GOD - SATANISM "is the worship and imitation of the biblical Satan or Lucifer. Satan is referred as the brother of Christ, the one who was cast out of heaven, and whom the Satanists worship.

There are two kinds of Satanism:

1. Those who believe that Satan exists and is a powerful force... with animals and children sacrificed to worship him and get his favors, and the Black Mass as the main rite.

2. Those who believe that Satan does not exist, but it is merely the symbol or personification of fleshy human desires and appetites... and they try to imitate it, with all kind of sins, pleasures and selfishness, lying, stealing, killing.

Black Mass: This is the ultimate rite for a real Satanist to obtain magic powers: A blasphemous Mass, where the altar is a nude woman, and the vagina is the tabernacle. If possible, a real Host stolen from a Catholic Church is placed in the vagina in the midst of reciting distorted psalms with hot music and all kind of obscenities, cursing Jesus and honoring Satan. The fake priest ends up having real sex, with the Host still in the vagina.

If a baby can be slaughtered during the ritual, they will drink his blood and eat his flesh, to mimic the most the Eucharist. Ideally, a Black Mass is to be celebrated by a "real heretic Priest" that, even in sin, can celebrate Mass effectively.

The prayers end with the strongest expression of Satanism: "Shemhaforash," the word pronounced by God when he created the world, and while spitting on a cross or stepping on it, they all cry out "Hail, Satan.".

JESUS CHRIST - SATANISM  In their prayers, Satan is invoked and honored, and Jesus Christ is cursed... and that's not jut a symbol!... 19 prayers are recited in "enochian language," a kind of old Arabic not spoken by anyone, and some of them end with this English translation: "Be friendly unto me, for I am the same!- the true worshiper of the highest and ineffable King of Hell."

THE HOLY SPIRIT - SATANISM  does not worship a recognized deity. Major emphasis is placed on the power and authority of the individual Satanist, rather than a god.

SIN - SATANISM does not believe there is sin, they believe it is alright to do what you will without guilt. What is "bad" in the Bible becomes "good," sin, and Satan will be with you!...they call it "freedom of choice;" they believe to get powers to perform magic by doing evil acts.

REDEMPTION - SATANISM  believes that "no redeemer liveth" - that each person is their own redeemer.

SALVATION - SATANISM recognizes God, but instead of worshiping God, they blaspheme God and worship Satan.  

JUDGMENT - SATANISM believes that they be able to function after death, have demonic powers over other souls. Heaven and hell do not exist. Satanists believe that their rewards will be given to them by Satan.

GOD - SCIENTOLOGY believes that the Christian Science Church, "The Church of Christ Science,"  the "science of healing," is "Anti-Christian," "Anti-Science," with Hindu doctrine, and it is not a Church.

GOD - SCIENTOLOGY believes that "God" is not the Christian God, but a "Hindu one:" An impersonal Principle of life, truth, love, intelligence, and spirit. God is not divine person, but the "divine principle" of all that exists. the Trinity is pagan.

JESUS CHRIST - SCIENTOLOGY believes that "Jesus Christ" is not God, he was not the Christ, they say, but a man who displayed the "Christ" idea ("Christ" means perfection, not a person). He did not suffer and could not suffer for sins. He did not die on the cross, and he did not rise physically. He will not literally come back. The Virgin Birth was a spiritual idea...

THE HOLY SPIRIT - SCIENTOLOGY believes that The "Holy Spirit" is an impersonal power, defined as the teachings of Christian Science.

SIN - SCIENTOLOGY believe that there is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age.

REDEMPTION - SCIENTOLOGY believe that "Heaven and Hell" do not exist, they are only states of mind.  Death is not real.

SALVATION - SCIENTOLOGY believes that "Salvation" is by recognizing that each person is as much a Son of God as Jesus is. There is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age.

JUDGMENT - SCIENTOLOGY believes that a person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes "perfect."

GOD - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST believes there is a Trinity of the Father, the Son (Christ), and the Holy Spirit that comprises one God Almighty.

GOD - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST believe that the only way a person can be saved and have eternal life is if he/she comes to Christ through Ellen G. White; i.e., a works and program. They also believe that only members of Seven Day Adventist will be saved.

JESUS CHRIST - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST believe that Jesus Christ is God's only incarnation and is God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST There is a Trinity of the Father, the Son (Christ), and the Holy Spirit that comprises one God Almighty.

SIN - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST Original sin--all people are inherently sinners, prone to evil and subject to Satan's temptations.

REDEMPTION - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST believe that "Now, while our great High Priest is making the atonement for us, we should seek to become perfect in Christ" (E.G. White, The Great Controversy [TGC], 1911, p. 623; TGC has since been re-titled and published as America in Prophecy, 1988). SDA teaches that, though saved by grace, we are kept by the Law (i.e., "partial atonement"). Therefore, one must keep Old Testament dietary and ceremonial laws, paying particular attention to keep the Saturday Sabbath and the Ten Commandments, and most importantly, making sure to faithfully pay the tithe. 

Even when speaking of being saved by the righteousness of Christ, Adventist writers refer to imparted righteousness, seldom to the Biblical concept of imputed righteousness. Calling it "Christ's righteousness," while insisting on the believer's perfection of character as a prerequisite to salvation, is at worst a thinly veiled works salvation, or at best an attempt to mix grace and works, something the Bible says is impossible to do (Romans 11:6). Mrs. White's words are crystal clear one will not be forgiven until all sins are eradicated from one's life and one's character is perfected. Precisely the same heresy is found (besides many others) in Mormonism. It is not the salvation by grace alone through faith alone offered in the Bible.

SALVATION - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST believe salvation is only by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. But faith must be exhibited through action. Baptism (full immersion) is performed at age of accountability for those "born again" and is regarded as a demonstration of belief, a symbol of union with Christ and forgiveness of sins, and reception of the Holy Spirit. The faithful will obey God's commandments, acknowledge and repent their sins, observe the Sabbath on Saturday, adhere to church moral laws, restrictions, and sacraments, including baptism and communion, care for their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Living life as simply and naturally as possible, away from stressful influences is encouraged. Some modes of entertainment (theater, billiard rooms, dance halls, saloons, most television, movies, etcetera) are to be avoided. Schooling
at home.

JUDGMENT - SEVEN DAY ADVENTIST do not believe that the whole man or any part of him is inherently "immortal" (Q.D., p. 518). SDAs believe in "soul sleep" for the saved (i.e., no conscious existence from the time of death until the resurrection), and annihilation for the wicked (i.e., the body and soul are destroyed at death rather than experiencing everlasting torment). How, then, can one get to heaven: SDAs believe that one can have immortality only on the condition that he comes to Christ through Ellen G. White; i.e., a works program, following salvation by grace with light of revelation through Ellen G. White as the infallible guide to Holy Scripture, apart from which one cannot have immortality.

Then, at resurrection day, the body will be re-created (necessary because of soul sleep) for all those who believe in White's guidance and teachings (while non-SDAs will remain in "soul sleep" forever; i.e., will cease to exist [annihilated] and will not suffer everlasting torment).

GOD - SPIRITUALISM do not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible.

Spiritism is the third kind of the Occult: Divination attempts to foretell the future, magic to change it: Spiritism tries to communicate with the dead to receive information and help from them.

Spiritualism is spiritism, but with the sacrilege of using Christian rites and prayers, misleading some ignorant attendants, especially in the Spiritualistic Churches, whose meetings may look like Christian services.

There are many interesting phenomena related with Spiritism. 1- Materialization of spirits, Ectoplasms, Auras, Apport, Ghosts, Hunted Homes, Saints, Angels, Devils, Apparitions, Visions, Reincarnation.  2- Ouija, Psychics, Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Levitation, Bilocations, Mesmerism, Psychometry.

You can not be a Spiritualist and a Christian, both are totally opposed and contradictory, as much as Satan is opposed to God: Either you trust in Satan or you trust in God, but not both at the same time.

"God," they say, is an infinite spiritual intelligence, an impersonal power controlling the universe.

JESUS CHRIST - SPIRITUALISM believes the doctrine of the trinity seems to have no adherents in advanced circles of the spirit world.  The divinity of Christ as a co-equal with Father is universally denied.

JESUS CHRIST - SPIRITUALISM does not believe Jesus paid for our sins on the cross, he did not redeem us, his crucifixion was no more than "an illustration of the martyr spirit".

JESUS CHRIST - SPIRITUALISM claims that "Jesus Christ was the master medium of all time;" they point to the Transfiguration as an example of spirit materialization, and Pentecost as the greatest séance in history... in fact, they make the Bible endorse what its writers emphatically oppose!

THE HOLY SPIRIT - SPIRITUALISM teaches from the Bible. They claim to have the nine miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit (which they claim are used in the séance.

SIN - SPIRITUALISM believes that God loves everyone and there is no Heaven or Hell. The religion actually comforts the sinner.

REDEMPTION - SPIRITUALISM believes redemption is automatic and that God loves everyone and there is no death, the devil, Hell, or judgment.

SALVATION - SPIRITUALISM believes that God loves everyone, that salvation is gained by good works, and that the door to reformation is never closed. They believe that when a person leaves this life, he goes to reside on a certain plane (depending on how good he was) where someone will be there to help him.

JUDGMENT - SPIRITUALISM believes that there is no actual Hell, no ultimate judgment of man's sins in life after death.

GOD - UNIFICATION CHURCH does not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible.

Sun Myung Moon (Sun Shining Moon): the leader of the Unification church claims to be God. Moon has a big ego and likes to brag. After all, the man claims to be God. But Moon is not God; he is a false god! He can't make stars nor even atoms, he can't make a petal of a rose, nor the eyes of an insect, nor even one of your hairs, he is a false god!

Sun Myung Moon claims that he will bring the "physical salvation" to earth. He also claims that he is the third Adam, the second Christ, God himself incarnated, to unite all Christian churches, to unite all religions, and bring to earth a perfect social system, a perfect family life... earth will be the new Paradise of Eden, with perfect love to God, and brotherhood of all people living in communes, sharing their wealth.

Sun Myung Moon believes "God" is both positive and negative... he does not know the future, is suffering, and needs a "man" Moon! to make him happy. No Trinity.

Unification Church believes that man is the visible; and God is the invisible form.  God and man are one.  Man is incarnate God, as important in value as God Himself (CIC, p. 5)  

JESUS CHRIST - UNIFICATION CHURCH believes that Jesus was a perfect man, but "he is not God;" he was the bastard offspring of Zechariah and Mary, and the "cross" is the symbol of the defeat of Christianity... Jesus had achieved "spiritual salvation," but he failed to reach "physical salvation"... He did not resurrect physically... his mission was to unite the Jews, find a perfect bride, and begin a perfect family, but he failed, not being able to marry Magdalene...

THE HOLY SPIRIT - UNIFICATION CHURCH believes the "Holy Spirit" is a "feminine spirit" who works with Jesus in the spirit world to lead people to Moon, who is the one to come announced in John 16:13... Moon is the Lord of the Second Advent...

SIN - UNIFICATION CHURCH believes there is no sin if you are a moony. Everyone will be saved.

REDEMPTION - UNIFICATION CHURCH believes "Everyone will be saved, even Satan."

SALVATION - UNIFICATION CHURCH "Salvation" comes in one of three ways:1- Having actual sex with Moon, for the girls.2- Having sex with a girl who had sex with Moon, if you are a man.3- Working full time for Moon.

JUDGMENT - UNIFICATION CHURCH The "After-death" is a stupidity: Everyone goes to the spirit world. There is not resurrection, but the members "advance" by convincing others to follow Moon, and working hard for Moon...  And here comes the great stupidity: "Everyone will be saved, even Satan"... so, why work so hard for Moon?... You are going to be saved anyway!

GOD - UNITY CHURCH does not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible.

GOD - UNITY CHURCH "God" is not the Christian God, but a Hindu one: An invisible impersonal power, a "Principle," a "Law," a "Being," a "Mind," a "Spirit" God is not a "He" but an "It"... a pantheistic god in everything. No Trinity.

GOD - UNITY CHURCH believes what God is, Man is. That we are now in the presence of that eternal Is-ness - Osiris and Isis are not our Father-Mother as fully as they were of old Egypt (SB, p 229).

GOD - UNITY CHURCH believes God is the substance, or real thing standing under every viable form of life, love, intelligence, or power.  Each contains the whole of God (LT, p. 8-9 cited in Martin, p. 281).

JESUS CHRIST - UNITY CHURCH believes "Jesus" was a man and not the Christ. Instead, he was a man who had "Christ Consciousness." Christ is a state of perfection in every person. Jesus had lived many times before and was in search of his own salvation. He was called the "Son of David" indicating that he had been previously incarnated in David, say the Unity...and continues...Jesus did not die as a sacrifice for anyone's sins; he did not rise physically, and he will never return to earth in physical form.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - UNITY CHURCH believes The "Holy Spirit" is not a person, but the law of God in action, the "law of nature," the "executive power of both Father and Son."

SIN - UNITY CHURCH believes that there is no evil, no devil, no sin.

REDEMPTION - UNITY CHURCH believes a person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes "perfect."

SALVATION - UNITY CHURCH believes "Salvation" comes by recognizing that each person is as much a Son of God as Jesus is. There is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age. A person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes "perfect"... "positive thinking" is the key of everything...

JUDGMENT - UNITY CHURCH believes death is a result of wrong thinking. One "reincarnates" until enlightenment comes. No Heaven or Hell...be "positive."

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL does not believe in the Trinity of God.  One God in three co-equal and co-eternal personages:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is contrary to the teachings of the Christian Bible.

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL believes Elohim, God alone, is Creator of heaven and earth.

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL believes that the Bible teaches that God is the only one true God, that God was in Christ, that God is Spirit, and that God is eternal whereas Jesus was Born (Wierwille, The Words Way, p. 26).

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL believes that God has no equal. God alone holds the power of salvation (Wierwill, Jesus Christ Is Not God, p. 124).

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL believes that the Trinitarian dogma degrades God from His elevated unparalleled position.  Besides, it leaves an unredeemed (JC, Book jacket).

GOD - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL believes biblically there are three:

1.)   God who is Holy Spirit, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2.) Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the son of man.

3.)  The holy spirit, God's gift which God made available on the day of Pentecost (JC, p. 123.

JESUS CHRIST - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL
The members may attain the same "Christ consciousness" as Jesus, who was merely a god-realized man.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL Baptism is not by water, but by the "holy spirit" (with no capitals, because the holy spirit is not God).

SIN - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL "The accuser" is as a god they call and follow.

REDEMPTION - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL
Reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation is wrong. Or that speaking in tongues in the third person is counterfeit.

SALVATION - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL To practice "glossolalia" 30 minutes per day is a part of salvation.

JUDGMENT - THE WAY INTERNATIONAL To forego God's hand of protection, according to their spiritual mentors can bring on judgment.

REDEMPTION - VOODOO ... CANDOMBLE In Candomblé, the world of mortals is not sandwiched between a heaven above and a hell below. Rather it is positioned at the center of the concentric rings of the spirit world.

SALVATION - VOODOO ... CANDOMBLE Acquires the "power," the "gris-gris" with the odor and smoke of incense, drinking  any tafia...you may "become like a zombi" for 3 weeks."

The entire conception of the Candomblé universe is based upon the concept of a matter-spirit continuum: All non-human entities are hierarchically ranked not by their relative goodness or badness, but by their association with matter.

JUDGMENT - VOODOO ... CANDOMBLE Embraces the concept of an afterworld composed of infinite space that is the dwelling of their respective high, remote supreme gods. Orun is "the celestial dwelling place of the divinities" (Voeks 1997:63) associated with the Catholic heaven. It is the home of the orixás, the supreme god Olódùmare (Olórun), and the éguns (eguns), or soul of the dead.

The eguns are dispersed in all the nine spaces, with their level of ascent (perhaps) dependent upon the level of spiritual growth achieved during their mortal existence…The orixás inhabit the primary levels of orun, where the energy intensity is believed to be similar to that of Earth. This balanced energy status translates to a highly permeable membrane separating the parallel worlds of the spiritual and the material. Humans are more limited, able to enter even the lowest layers of orun only through death (Voeks 1997:63).

In formal context, exus are "referred to, respectfully, as 'slaves' (of the orixás)" (Wafer 1991:14). The exus are not, however, absolutely evil. Their help can be enlisted by humans through offerings with none of the perils associated in the Christian perspective with dealing with "devils." Their place in orun, however, is identified as hell.
